Absolute Must - Like a Vegan KFC - Edit
Mouth-watering food and incredible service! My friend and I were visiting from out of town and the owner gave us extra sides in addition to our O.G. Chick'n Sandwiches for no charge. He also let us stay slightly later than closing time so we could really take our time and enjoy the insanely crispy yet juicy burgers and the scrumptious potato salad, japanese veggies, and creole mac n cheese. I'm dreaming of the food now that we're gone. If you're visiting from out of town you HAVE to try their chick'n to truly get a taste of Kentucky.

The vegan chicken burgers were so good!!! Would highly recommend ordering the onions rings on the side. The food was a bit too salty after a while though… However, it was still very yummy!

They make their own seitan in house and fry it up to perfection! Portions are large, they’ve got a great patio out back, the owners are great to talk to and seem like really cool people. Don’t sleep on this one, go hang out and have a few, but maybe wear elastic waist pants when you do 😉

Definitely stop in to Cosmic Bird if you’re anywhere near Louisville. They’re entirely plant based and their chicken sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had. They have unique sandwich builds and each one I’ve had is delicious. Stop by and support this small business!

I LOVE Cosmic Bird. He makes of the best chicken "fauxlty" sandwiches I've ever had. I was also able to try his gyro, which was also great. Vegan junk food at its finest! Prices are also great and the owner is so nice!

I was so happy to finally make it here. The official opening is 01.12.24. Good location. Casual dining. Didn't try, but they have a Grab + Go Case as well. What I had was so good. Everyone here is so nice and welcoming. They have a table set up for Butterfly Valley Rescue & Sanctuary where I got to meet the owners.

They specialize in seitan chicken and it is really amazing. James and his sister were really awesome people and was great getting to know them too. They officially open on the 12th so make sure you go check them out.

We stopped in the new vegan restaurant on our way through Louisville. The owner makes a great chick’n sandwich (I had the O. G.). My husband had the Cosmic Breakfast Burrito. The burrito had a little heat and was very flavorful. We loved both of them!
Read moreWe had a chance to chat with the owner during our visit. He just moved into the brick and mortar location around October 2023. There are plans to have live music and other events at the restaurant in the future.
