The Vegan Knots were very good. I definitely enjoyed them. They just aren't top-notch, but I'd be totally fine getting them if I'm in the area again.

Missing item - Edit
Recently ordered vegan parm along with non-vegan items for other people. They sent the other items and not the sandwich (still charged me for it). When I called they said they were out. Didn’t offer a substitute or refund, just said “sorry dawg.”

The employee that took our order was very nice and helpful. We were indecisive and she stayed patient, helpful and kind. The restaurant is very cooly decorated and painted. The music is fun.

New York style thin pizza - Edit
There are very few options for pizza places in Louisville that have vegan cheese and meat substitutes. We ordered the veggie knots (which I assumed would be like garlic knots) but they were more of like a savory cinnamon roll -like with greens and daisy cheese rolled up in it and I wasn’t really a fan. We also got a beyond sausage pizza. Crust was thin and almost sweet, which I didn’t really like. I wouldn’t crave the place if I was wanting pizza but it’s nice that they at least cater to vegetarian/vegans.

The pizza was ok. I felt like the crust was sweeter than I liked, but had a good chew. I think they use Daiya cheese, which is not my favorite. You can get all the vegetarian pizzas made with vegan cheese, but there are no other fake meat substitutions, no Beyond Sausage was available in online ordering. However, it was easy to order online, and was ready for pickup exactly when estimated.

I was surprised by how much I liked the vegan pizza. The cheese melted nicely, the crust was thin, and the sauce tasted fresh. Other reviews mentioned vegan meat toppings, but it wasn't an option when I ordered online. We ordered takeout and the only option was an 18" pizza.

5 Star Restaurant, Despite Happy Cow Rules - Edit
This place may not be full-vegan, nor are they incredibly knowledgeable of all things vegan but, the cook seriously knows what he's doing with Incogmeato 'chicken' and Follow Your Heart cheese. He created the best Vegan Chicken Parm I've ever tasted. This thing should have been served with wet wipes because the cheese was SOOOO gooey. Delicious would be an understatement!

Everything was amazing, the staff were incredible and this place... Let me just say that they couldn't have possibly packed more character into one business. It has a fantastic grunge feel while still being incredibly clean, open and welcoming!

Delicious Vegan Pizza! - Edit
I loved everything I tried at Spinelli’s! They have a vegan section of their menu & offer vegan cheese & beyond sausage. I tried the Italian salad, veggie knots, Vegenator pizza & fried Oreos, it was all amazing!! Will definitely be back if I’m ever in Louisville!
