Amazing, Delicious and Wholesome Bowls! - Edit
Communitea Cafe is an adorable, charming and friendly cafe in Canmore. During a recent visit to the Rockies in September 2020, I ate here nearly every day (sometimes twice a day)! Their menu is amazing and features a variety of healthy, creative and nourishing bowls, lots of teas, etc.. Items that are gluten free and vegan are clearly marked and there are options to make anything vegan on the menu with substitutions.
Read moreDue to the pandemic, the cafe is only open for take-out and patio seating at the moment (no indoor seating). The online ordering system was very efficient and smooth. I liked that the take-out containers were compostable.
I tried the Buddha Bowl, Yoga Bowl and Kale Caesar Salad during my visits and loved all of them. Such delicious and unique flavours and packed with wholesome ingredients. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, it would deserve it. Fantastic and cute little cafe and I will continue to eat here on future travels.

The best hummus - Edit
I go here every time I stay in Canmore for breakfast. The hummus they use for their avocado toast is delicious! They have a few marked vegan options on their menu. There is a great selection of locally made tea, too, and they have a choice of oat or almond milk.

Delicious bowl! - Edit
This was my second time at Communitea, and it was really tasty. I would definitely recommend getting a bowl, as it's a good amount of food and the ones I've had are really delicious. There definitely can be a longer wait on weekends so keep that in mind. They also have vegan snacks (energy balls) but I haven't tried those yet.

A bright, welcoming and busy cafe serving some healthy vegan options. We tried the Mega Fresh Bowl with sesame tofu add on and the Vegan Burrito - both delicious and filling. We ordered a Blueberry Mint iced tea on a whim which was great as well.

We came by for a weekday breakfast. Lots of vegan and gluten free options. We had v/gf scones, a vegan burrito, and the hemp bowl. The food was delicious, service was friendly and helpful, and the coffees were well crafted and delicious.

Cute Place with Wonderful Options - Edit
This was a cute little establishment in the mellow town of Canmore... We weren't expecting to find such a café, let alone any good vegan options, but we were very happy with the service and choices here! My mom and I got Buddha Bowls and my brother got one of their sandwiches... Seriously one of the best bowls I've had! This was a great place to fuel up after a long several days of travel.

Great Vegan Options - Edit
I stumbled across this place whilst wandering around Canmore in desperate search for something vegan to eat. I thought this was just a tea/coffee shop but the menu is amazing!! I ordered the classic avocado sandwich (which is served with a side of organic popcorn) with a side of the kale caesar salad. The sandwich was just as good as you could expect any avocado on toast to be but there wasn't a lot of room for wow factor there. The Kale Caesar Salad, however, was absolutely phenomenal. I want to eat this every day for the rest of my life!! I am by no means a salad person and simply decided to order this on a whim but I am definitely going back for that! Its also available in a wrap or just a big bowl of salad. I also ordered the strawberry green tea which was super tasty.

Another positive experience dining out as a gluten free vegan. Very good menu for my needs and my hubby. He enjoyed the "salmon wrap"....not a vegan.... and I loved the "fresh bowl" with tahini garlic dressing. Vast and great tea menu. Nice and airy environment. Would definitely go again.
