Just fine - Edit
I couldn't find the place from happy cow at all. Ended up finding it (or another branch idk) further down the street. Ordering on the tablet was confusing, atmosphere was semi, food was okay but nothing more. I had the aubergine curry with added spinach and the best thing about it was the fried aubergine, which was done very nicely. The curry itself was very mediocre. But just fine in a pinch.

Great food near Tokyo Tower - Edit
Great food near Tokyo Tower and Zojoji Temple. Asked for a vegetarian menu and had no problems. Ordered the vegetarian curry with okra, mushroom and yam, and really enjoyed it. Friendly staff.

Excellent Vegan Options - Edit
I tried Coco Ichibanya for the first time yesterday. I asked for and received the vegan menu which clearly says in English "only plant-based ingredients are used in these dishes." There are at least ten different choices of curry. With each choice you can choose the amount of rice (up or down from normal) and you can choose the spice level (up or down from normal). I had mushroom, okra, and mountain yam curry on 400g of rice at spice level 3. It was about 1000 Yen. It was also a ton of food (too much rice - I chose too much - normal is 250g) and almost too spicy, but I like spicy. It was delicious - a lot of flavors. I was especially impressed to have customization options. I am sorry that it took me nearly 4 years in Japan to find this excellent and nearly ubiquitous vegan option (these stores are everywhere). If you want a vegan Japanese curry experience - I highly recommend this.

Cheap, easy, nice staff - Edit
Just request a vegan menu. The staff were really nice, and polite despite my trouble explaining that I didn't want it spicy. Food was nice, and there were actually quite a few options!

Very tasty - Edit
My curry with tomatoes and asparagus was delicious and the rice was great! Very tasty. Big portions, friendly staff, quite big choice. Not so far away from Tokyo Tower.

Vegetarian menu is welcomed! - Edit
Close to Tokyo Tower. Vegetarian menus are already on the table. Gives a good number of curries to choose from and can customise orders (More rice, more spiciness etc.) Has a lot of side orders such as naan (contains cheese) and fries. Whole family could eat, which was great. The curry sauce is rich and deep. Cheap place to fill up and staff were really friendly. Comfortable to eat alone or with others.
Read morePros: Lots of customisation, Very affordable, Wider range of veggie curries
Cons: Easy to confuse between regular and veggie menus, Bright, fluorescent lighting
