2 CUC, don’t worry if you think the ice cream will be too coconuty (if you’re not into that). Had the chocolate and it was lovely, Defo worth a a stop off along with the various churro stands around plaza vieja

The guy working was so sweet and spoke English very well so we had a funny and great convo. The dessert was so amazing I couldn’t leave Cuba without having it one more time! This is a must if you are in old Havana!

A great sweet vegan treat - Edit
A cart in Plaza Vieja, it comes in a half coconut shell with a spoon, or as a kind of ice cream sandwich. We tried the coconut shells. There are various flavours, we tried chocolate and strawberry and both thought the strawberry was the best. A welcome cooling treat in old Havana.

Welcome cold treats - Edit
This little gem in the centre of the old town is a welcome treat in Cuba’s heat. Usually around 5 flavours on offer daily . Comes served in a coconut shell and 2 cuc in dec 2018 per shell. Tasty, it traditionally ice creamy as you can taste the coconut, but go for a different cold snack and it’s a treat!
