No vegan options, but somewhat accommodated - Edit
So we decided to eat here because it was listed as having vegan options. As you can see from the menu, the only thing on there is the salad, which has zero protein. After talking with staff, they were able to offer a vegan pizza with veggies. Again, zero protein. The pizza wasn't very interested and the rice and beans were rice and beans.
Read moreAll in all, I don't think there is going to be much else vegan in Cuba at this point, protein-wise. Rice and beans it is.

Wouldn't go here again - Edit
We were recommended this place by our casa particulares host as having vegan options. However, when enquired they only had rice, beans, fries and salad. We opted not to have the salad, at which point, we got a comment from the server that "you're vegan and you don't have salad?". The fries were okay but beans were the worst we had. Would not go here again.

Nothing vegan here - Edit
Not sure when the place changed, but there is certainly nothing vegan on offer here. The had no falafels and could not tell me if or when they had had any. Total disappointment and from what I could tell, very overpriced.

Amazing service - Edit
We enjoyed a vegan pizza with veggies and without cheese. We had such a nice waiter, we mentioned that we would like to eat something vegan / vegetarian and she mentioned several options. We also had a tasty local rum here, the santiago 11 anos and the nice lady even helped us with the cigar. The pizza was very nice and staff very helpful. You can sit on a balcony and have a nice view in Plaza Vieja in a quite place.

Best pina colada! - Edit
We visited this place twice, both times we enjoyed pina colada, that was the best cocktails of that type I tried in Cuba! Rich, big, with a lot of rum and coconut!

Falafel is AMAZING, view is great - Edit
I went here twice. The servers were very friendly and the falafel starter was so good. Also, the fried malengA was delicious. The view from their patio was awesome over the Plaza vieja. The second time we visited they only had one new bartender o. So the drinks took forever (more than an hour). Not sure if that was a one off.

Falafels and tostones - Edit
Quite pricey but the view and the place itself was nice. We had falafel and tostones (fried plantaons) both were good! Falafels came with honey so you might want to ask them without it.

Fun and beautiful lounge - Edit
Probably one of the coolest spots in Havana, though quite pricey. They had a couple veg options but this is the place to come for drinks! Especially daiquiris

Dangerous food! - Edit
Quick and polite service, great views to the old Town Square. However, the falafel I ate there caused me upset stomach and two days of high fever. Lesson learned : never eat anything deep fried, and even better, prepare all your meals yourself while in Cuba. My partner played safe and had a pasta pomodoro.

fantastic lounge but pricey - Edit
This restaurant is upstairs in Plaza Vieja. We ordered a soda and a pricey imported still water ($4) For food we had the falafel, pesto pasta and a baguette. The pesto pasta comes with the cheese on the side. All was tasty. As we were about to leave, a thunderstorm rolled in and we stayed for the show. it was a fantastic view of the square and the sky.
