Drooling over the benedict - Edit
I had the vegan benedict plate! I was very pleased with the portion size and the taste. I was surprised by the texture of the vegan poached egg- I have never had anything like it in the past. I cannot wait to go back and try other menu items.

Very middle of the road - Edit
Two stars because there are better places that just have vegan options. Food is overhyped and bland. Prepared options in fridge are on par with prepared foods at the grocery store. Would rather eat elsewhere.

Top 5 Favorite Vegan Spots on Earth - Edit
What can I say. Everything on their menu is unbelievably delicious. From their drinks to their entrees to desserts, they know how to make a vegan happy. It’s even one of my meat-eating boyfriend’s new favorite spots. We had to be in the area for work and stopped here as much as we possibly could. If you’re there during the right season, get the pumpkin pie donut. Damn near brought tears to my eyes

Best in Cleveland? - Edit
Where would I be without the Happy Cow? Had a great lunch there today. I had the breakfast burrito and my partner had the breakfast sandwich. Both were very good. We also had a vegan hot chocolate made with their cashew milk. Very rich.

Better Than Some Nationally Famous Vegan Restaurants - Edit
We absolutely love Cleveland Vegan and have had so many top notch, delicious meals there. They’ve never disappointed us. The brunches are fantastic and the special dinners are worth it every time. We’ve special-ordered a cake that wasn’t on their menu and it was everything we wanted. The owners and staff are always super nice and welcoming. Cleveland Vegan, without a doubt, serves better food than several of the nationally known West Coast restaurants that are always getting a lot of press. (We moved from the Cleveland area but Cleveland is always come back!) 10 /10 definitely recommend!

Not the best vegan food or service - Edit
We went to lots of restaurants during our trip to the Cleveland area. The food here was some of the least memorable (a salad with very little lettuce and mostly shredded carrot; an undercooked zucchini fritter; a bowl that was just okay).
Read moreThe thing we remembered more than the food was the slow service. We were here for over two hours, and we ordered our food right away. Everything from water refills to meal prep to getting the bill took a long time.
Asked a local if that’s normal. She said it is, and because it’s the only sit-down vegan restaurant in the area, people don’t really complain about the food or service.
Honestly I’d rather go to one of the many other options in the area, it just didn’t stick out as a delicious or unique meal.

Nice vegan stop in Cleveland - Edit
We had a great stop at Cleveland Vegan on our road trip. We weren't too hungry, but ordering a few starters - tasty wings, nachos, and fully-stuffed tacos - ended up as plenty of food. Under other circumstances we probably would have stocked up on some to-go items as well.

Envious of you, Cleveland. This is the place to go for vegan food - Edit
We were visiting for about 24 hours but managed to order for pick up along the ride from the airport. I wished we had more time to go back. Met the catering mgr, while we waited. Very nice staff. Large sized casual restaurant. Had a section for already made food for take away. And they sell merch. I assure you the Everything cookie is delicious... I ate it while we waited for our food so no pic, sorry. We had the Classic Cuban, Crispy Tofu, Parmesan Zucchini Cakes, and the Chicken Sandwich.

Cute Cafe, Large Storefront, Delicious Food - Edit
Honestly I originally thought this restaurant was going to be a small tiny store front. But it huge. There’s so much space inside. The menu is also huge and they offer a variety of different pastries, hot made-to-order meals, pre-made microwaveable meals, espressos, and vegan cheeses. The pastry options were also out of this world. They had so many different items to choose from. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re ever in the area.

Deliciousness and So Many Gluten Free Options - Edit
I am sometimes hard to feed given dietary restrictions, mainly the gluten free thing, but most of their food choices have gluten free options. Everything is clearly marked. I got the CV slammer and holy delicious! I really love this place.

Went here twice on our visit! - Edit
We went here for dessert after arriving in Cleveland and got milkshakes. When we looked to go for dinner the online menu showed a lot of options out of stock. We decided to go for breakfast and there was a pretty sizable line. The broccoli cheese soup was my favorite. The biscuits and gravy was pretty dry and not very warm for it being pretty soon after they opened. The Benedict was what EVERYONE was ordering so we got that as well and it did not disappoint! Would definitely go back and try more. Oh! And we tried their cupcakes as they were at the wedding we were attending. Big Fan of the lemon cupcake!

Vegan merch - Edit
Thought this place was really cute so we got a shirt too. The bacon, egg, and cheese had a lot of flavor with thw sauce on top and a little messy. My only complaint is the cheeze could have been melted a little. First time having a gyro since going vegan and it did not disappoint at all. The meat substitute was phenomenal.

we walked in probably 30 minutes until close (tops) and we were let know that the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes; however, i really appreciate that we were still allowed to put in orders, and stay right until the restaurant closed.
