Good but sneaky fees - Edit
So they added a back of house service fee during the stay at home order. It made sense then but it is as busy as ever now. So there is the 20% service fee and you are expected to tip (aka they don't pay any staff a living wage). It's shady and the food is pretty good but not that great.
Read moreThe menu and food get smaller and less flavourful every year so there is also shrinkflation going on. It has become a poor value proposition. With that said, I usually enjoy myself here and love the vegan bakery next door. It's in a great location and staff are great.
In my opinion a better meal could be had at Wellness Sushi or Meta Burger. City o City is the OG and is in the best location. Beware of hipsters smoking nearby though.

Great options and pastries!! - Edit
Great atmosphere, and My non Veggie friend was happy. They don't do dairy by default, but do have eggs which is interesting. You can request dairy cheese for pizza they said though.

Wanted to love it - Edit
The restaurant itself and the staff were awesome, and there are tons of options to choose from. I tried the Mac and Cheese and was disappointed. The cheese sauce had no flavor and the broccoli was half cooked. My husband's Philly cheesesteak was really good though.

A must go on Wednesday's - Edit
Came here for their Pizza deal of 25% pizza's on Wednesday's and it does not disappoint! great size for 2-3 people for a great price. We go the buffalo chickn pizza with ranch on the side - even though ranch is extra you must get it, SOOOO worth it. This place is a gem!

Never Disappointed - Edit
Honestly, what is there not to love (other than it not being fully vegan)? I have been here so many times over the years and leave happy every single time. If I had to narrow down to my two favorites, I'd have to say the poutine with cashew ricotta or the fried ravioli.

Giant portions - Edit
Got the breakfast burrito with tofu, black beans, potatoes, vegan cotija cheese, and gravy. It was SO good and massive… like the size of a giant brick. Definitely come here hungry because the portions are large. Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. Almost everything on the menu can be made vegan if it isn’t already. Great spot for filling and delicious vegan food in Denver!

Mostly vegan - Edit
Great service, patiently answered all our questions. We ordered about 10 different items and split them with our table. Hands-down favorite was the kimchi noodles. Everything else was good. Food is really salty.

Delicious food and creative menu - Edit
Came here twice it was so good!
Read moreRavioli - had a half portion, and it was delicious. Very interesting flavors, note they are fried so quite filling
Seitan - so good, we did a half and half of the two sauces and thought the bbq was slightly better
Sausage and peppers pizza - delicious dough and base
Chicken and waffle - really good, but so filling and maybe a little oversalted
Macaroni cheese - would not get this again, there was barely any sauce it tasted like it was just cooked in butter
Buffalo wrap - this had the same seitan from the starter in it and was excellent.

Amazing! - Edit
The food here is amazing, and the service is even better. We were in town visiting and the servers were incredibly helpful in suggesting other great vegan restaurants to check out while we were in town. Will absolutely be coming back next time we are in Denver

Don’t go here if you’re expecting good service. - Edit
Every. Sincerely. Time. The service has never been good. And fyi they close the kitchen at 11pm even though they claim to be open till 12am.

Great Appetizers - Edit
My Omni fiancé and I went for a very late dinner around 9 pm and got some appetizers to split. We got the Poutine with vegan mozz, fried ravioli, pretzel with vegan cheese, and Caesar salad. We got everything made vegan and enjoyed the food. The poutine was delicious and the vegan mozz was incredible. The Caesar salad was flavorful and had crunchy and flavorful croutons with FYH vegan parm. Dressing had a strong horseradish flavor but salad was really good. Fried ravioli were delicious and came with a really good pesto sauce to dip. The pretzel was good but we were least impressed with this meal. The cheese sauce wasn’t quite right. Overall a very positive experience and a really delicious meal.

Amazing - Edit
I have been to City O’ City multiple times and have never been disappointed. The vibes are excellent, the drinks are excellent, the portion sizes are excellent, and while it can get pricey at the total, the food is well worth your money. Staff are incredibly helpful with recommending menu items and super friendly. Will be a forever customer!

Best in town - Edit
Every time I’m in town and hungry, this is the place to be. Their BBQ is the best thing in this world. Lists of plates have gfo, and though they serve dairy it can usually be omitted for a vegan option. There’s usually a wait but the food is so worth it

Nice food - Edit
Lots of gluten free options and they were careful in regards to my celiac to avoid cross-contamination. The host was very patient, kind and helpful in answering all my questions. I got the tempeh bacon hash, the caesar salad and guajillo black bean arepa. All were very good. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Denver area.

Big menu, Something for everyone! - Edit
Delicious! Even the non-vegan adult with us (who thinks she doesn't like vegan cheese) loved the vegan cheese sauce that came with the soft pretzel. My 3 yr old non-vegan niece enjoyed the kids vegan Mac n cheese and the vegan cheese sauce with the pretzel. New vegan guy says the vegan buffalo chick'n pizza was the BEST buffalo chicken pizza he's EVER had!! Delicious bbq seitan wings too.

I wish this restaurant existed in Oakland California! - Edit
It was so amazing to be able to eat everything on the menu. And there was so much good food listed it was hard to choose. I ended up having the Tempeh bacon hash, but really, I could’ve had anything! My meal was really tasty and the potatoes were cooked to my perfection, meaning they were crispy and well done. It felt like a really hearty meal. I had a coffee and also the sparkly morning beverage. I will be going back to Denver in August and I will be sure to add this restaurant to my regular rotation!
