Read moreI am not a fan of frosting, this treat wasn’t exactly my soulmate. The frosting was a little extra for me—like that one friend who always insists on karaoke when you just wanted a quiet dinner. I found myself wishing for a simpler version, just the cinnamon roll and some fruit, no sugary theatrics.
BUT, and it’s a big but, the real MVP here is the fact that everything is 100% vegan. No dairy, no eggs, just sweet, "guilt-free" indulgence. And for that, I’ll happily fork over my cash. Businesses like this deserve all the love.
Bottom line: If you love sweets and frosting, this is your place to visit. If you’re like me and prefer a more toned-down treat, you might need to ask for a custom order. Either way, it’s worth the trip to support this vegan slice of heaven.

One of the best places in Ottawa to get yourself some vegan sweets. Cinnaholic has a HUGE selection of cinnamon buns (and other treats!), some which stay year-round and many which change seasonally.
Read moreMy personal favourite out of their cinnamon buns is the "Cookie Monster Roll", which boasts and impressive heap of cookie dough atop cream cheese icing and then drizzled with chocolate and chocolate chips. It is fantastic... and really, a meal on its own with how filling it is!
Aside from the cinnamon buns they also offer an AMAZING vegan cookie dough, delicious brownies, mini-buns, cookies (chocolate chip and cinnadoodle), and some basic cafe drinks (drip coffee, teas, lattes).
Price-wise, it really is quite a good deal because these buns are BIG. If you order for delivery, they sell these really nice bundles of treats which end up being a rather good price for a huge amount of desserts.
The location itself has some seating on the inside and some on the outside as well, provided the weather allows for it. There is a washroom for customers. Staff are consistently friendly!

I’m so happy I found this place my last day in Ottawa, everything is vegan and everything is customizable. I had a cinnamon bun with peanut butter icing and topped with peanut butter cups! It was soo delicious, I also got a few brownies with delicious toppings like caramel, pretzels and Oreos to name a few. The prices are also quite good as the cinnamon buns and brownies are huge, expect to pay between 4-8 dollars per dessert.

Perfect place to bring non-veg friends that think that vegan pastries can’t be as good as non-vegan pastries. Everything is vegan and there is a lot of choices! It’s hard to choose. The buns are really big and fulfilling, so it’s better to not have eaten too much before going there! They also have mini buns and cupcakes. If I go back, I will only take the cinnamon bun without toppings, because it was too heavy with the toppings, in my opinion.
