Great Chinese food - Edit
Thier deep fried spring rolls are crispy and super delicious. I have been there many times, never got bored. You can ask them for a vegan/vegetarian menu. There are many food choices.

Okay - Edit
The vegan soy meat in sweet sour sauce and gyoza were good. But I was disappointed to only get fried tomyo, although the menu said fried vegetables. I expected a variety of veggies.

Big and filling meals - Edit
We wanted to go to an other restaurant originaly which was closed, so we came spontanious to this place and were happy about some nice vegan meals. The Lllady was friendly, she spoke some basic english and totally understand what we wanted to eat and also asked questions if we can eat onion etc. When the food came, she also explained some of the ingredients to let us know it's not meat but fake meat made of peas. The dishes were good and big and very filling. It wasn't special, but a good decent meal and a nice option.

good food but quite expensive - Edit
I went in at 10:30 am (i was very happy to be able to eat so early!) and I didn't have to wait for so long. The harumaki were really good and the vegan pork one of the best things I've eaten for a while. The only downside was the price. The portions aren't that big, but the food is quite expensive (the vegan food at least!)

Tasty food but allows smoking - Edit
We visited as part of a meetup organized by the excellent Yokohama Vegan Meetup group. Service was efficient and fast and food was delicious. We were a large group, and we had the entire top floor to ourselves, so we could breathe easily (literally). We’d never visit an establishment that allows smoking otherwise.

The food was delicious - Edit
Complementing the other comments here, I can't complain about the wait. After I was asked, I would like tea, I assumed this would be free as in almost every restaurant. In addition, I was asked if I would like rice with it. The vegan pork cost 1500, the rice 300 and the tea 300, although here was more ice cubes than tea. On my request, I then got a list of items and the difference to the price to be paid (2310) was then justified with tax.

The sweet and sour “pork” is to die for. The sauce is delicious and the meat replacement is so tender.

The staff also is knowledgeable and will check to make sure if eggs, milk, honey, (as well as garlic and onions for those who are Buddhist veg).

Spectacular vegan options - Edit
The Yokohama vegan meetup group ate here on Nov 16. I'm Chinese and was visiting Japan. I had not been impressed with the Chinese food I had had in Japan. I had called them fake Chinese food. But Chojo served up mostly very authentic Chinese food and vegan to boot. Even though Chojo is not vegan, they had many vegan options. Our vegan group had 18 choices. We chose 7 dishes. The gyoza was impressive: very tasty filling, with wrappers of just the right texture. The seasonal vegetable was water spinach: fresh and a beautiful green. The spring roll was crispy & delicious, but a little too brown. We also had sweet & sour vegan pork, hot braised fried tofu, spicy fried eggplant, mixed stir-fried rice noodle. The owner lady was very attentive and refilled our drinks and took additional orders. Our group ate upstairs and had the room to ourselves. I was pleasantly surprised to have had a good Chinese meal in Yokohama. Also very grateful for the meetup to allow us to try the different dishes of Chojo. We ended up paying 2800 yen each, including drinks (very reasonable).
