It was an interesting experience as they tried to charge a different (higher) price than the menu, which I pointed out and the manager overheard. At first he said the menu price was for a single, rather than double enchilada combo, then he changed his mind and never making eye contact told the server he would take care of it. So I got a usual two enchilada combo for a usual price with unusual awkward if not unfriendly service, but the food itself was good enough. As I was leaving their business seemed to be picking up so and they seemed more friendly so maybe their karma improved?

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chico's Tacos during a visit to Havasu for a Balloon festival, and it was a delightful experience. As a vegan, I often find it challenging to discover suitable options in certain locations, but Chico's Tacos had a surprisingly good selection.

The Salsa Bar at Chico's Tacos was a highlight, offering a variety of options, and the chips served were light and crispy – a perfect accompaniment. For our main course, we both opted for the veggie burritos, essentially bean burritos with rice. Adding a little salsa elevated the flavors, and we had a truly satisfying dinner.
Being a vegan who often rates five stars exclusively for vegan restaurants on platforms like Happy Cow, giving a non-vegan restaurant like Chico's Tacos a three is still a great endorsement. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have the menu clearly marked with plant-based options and perhaps expand the selection for vegans.
The service at Chico's Tacos was friendly and prompt, contributing to an overall positive dining experience. Despite the minor suggestions, we are definitely planning to come back again. Kudos to Chico's Tacos for offering vegan-friendly options and creating an enjoyable atmosphere for all diners!

Enjoyed my meal here. Watch out ~ it seems things have changed. Rice has chicken broth. I would verify ingredients before placing order. No need to order Enchilada-style, as the green salsa referred to in other reviews is part of the salsa bar, so you can serve yourself as much as you like without getting charged for it. I asked the staff if the rice and beans were vegan, and she said, "I think so." I had to ask if she could find out. Good thing I did, because of the rice. The beans are vegan according to her. All of the salsa, pico, limes, onions, etc. at the salsa bar are very good.

Are you certain? One of the waitresses is vegetarian here, and she said that they use plant based broth for the rice.
