Love the produce layout. Lots of option for produce. We got chocolate and ramen! The shaman ramen was probably one of the best vegan ramen I’ve ever had. Steep price of $7 for a dry pint tho!

I went specifically to check out the vegan butcher counter and wasn't disappointed. (It's in the produce section, not by the regular butcher.) There were so many choices for meat substitutes and also sauces that I had a hard time choosing. But I ended up with a pre-packaged box of brisket. It was flavored nicely and had a hearty, dense texture, but I wasn't expecting it to have a texture anything like what I recall from my pre-vegan life. It was satisfying anyway and 100% cruelty free.

Meatless Butcher!!! - Edit
Just wow! They have so many options for vegan proteins, all encased nicely in one specific area. I absolutely love the fact that it is near the produce section of the store, no need to go into the area of the store that has animal products. So far the Greek kabobs are my favorite.

I need this in puerta vallarta. I laughed that the meatless bacon section was empty. 30 years since i last ate bacon. I live with 2 pet pigs. Cant stand that people eat them. Bean burgers im casual on. Could make them ourselves very easily. Meat brisket. Yummy. Never heard of. When i was in america decades ago either morning star or boca did a meatless rib. Meatless Butcher should get that on the list. So happy to see this and sad its not here. I was in austin before 2010. Wish it had been there then.

Seriously the vegan options out there nowadays are nothing compared to decades ago! Closest I’ve seen to this is in CDMX. I believe it’s called carnecería vegana.
