Curry nights & roast dinners with vg options

Visited for a pre-booked Christmas work dinner (Dec ‘23) which had items from the curry nights.

The staff were very inclusive and made sure I had lots of vegan options including a pineapple curry, chickpea curry/dal, rice and flaky paratha. Dessert included a chocolate mousse dish and some kind of mango sorbet with mango lassi, I believe. It was very tasty!

Wonderful

Call into this wonderful cafe whenever we visit Bath. Popped in today for coffee. Cosy place, really friendly staff - ordered vegan pizza which was delicious. Chef then said he could prepare vegan dessert for us, chocolate mousse which I can recommend. Love this place which caters for all dietary preferences. I would give a 5 star if I could. Looking forward to booking Sunday lunch next time we visit. Had a lovely chat with the owner too! Thank you fir making our day with our family special

Fantastic

Friendly relaxed foodie spot perfect for Sunday lunch, Friday night curry or lazy Saturday afternoon coffees. Always three courses to choose from although there is always more than what’s on the menu too. The Sunday lunch is unbelievable. Friendly team. Highly recommend.

Pros: Very vegan friendly - always several options, The best Sunday roast I’ve ever had, Menu regularly updated & lovely spot

Cons: Vegan option not always written on menu

Not what it once was

First visit since new owners, went for lunch. The menu is much shorter and nothing is marked vegan or vegetarian, so back to the bad old days of having to ask someone. They now also serve meat so no longer all veggie, which is a real shame. Atmosphere was lacking too. Ordered vegetable soup which was a little under seasoned but passable. Don't think I'll be back again as it's such a disappointment compared to how it was.

Pros: Location is lovely, Some vegan options

Cons: Now serves meat, Atmosphere is lacking compared to previous

Lovely and cosy

We ended up really over ordering here as it is quite cheap so thought we would need a lot more than we did! Between two people we had the soup, arancini, jacket potato with beans and a stew. The food was delicious and tasted nice and healthy and was perfect for a very cold day. We also got some chocolate orange slices to take away which were also great.
It was a very cold day and they even had hot water bottles and blankets to warm us up!

Pros: lots of vegan options, good prices for the portion

Cosy, good variety of food

With a seasonally changing menu, it's always an enjoyable and refreshing experience to eat here. From warming soups to refreshing salads, as well as delicious cakes. It's certainly my local "go to" cafe. Perfect spot if you fancy a hilly walk.
Bonus points for being dog friendly and situated in a beautiful location.

Pros: Vegan cake! , Dog friendly

Cons: Slightly out of the way

Relaxing Atmosphere, Amazing Food!

A beautiful sign on the edge of a hilly road invites you into this perfect place, a walk through a garden with a fresh scent and beautiful flowers surround to reach three barns and a patio of outdoor seating. The main barn holds the cafe, the medium barn holds the soon to be farm shop and the smallest barn is a store house for staff only. Inside the cafe there is an open plan kitchen and dining space which is lovely as you can watch all your food be freshly prepared to order. The menu is fully vegetarian and mostly vegan with all soughts of things on offer:- pizza, platters, stews, soups, salads and sandwhiches. I had the Ribolita: a bean and kale Stew with the most delicious olive oil topped sourdough bread. For dessert all but one of the cake options were vegan- I picked the raw chocolate caramel slice as I love raw cakes and was not disappointed! They also give you free infused water at your table which is not only delicious but a really nice and original treat! As for the atmosphere it couldn't have been better, it was very relaxing and welcoming due to the open planness of the area, the wholesomeness of the food and the kindness and chilled out mannerism of the amazing staff! Perfection.

Wonderful!

What a great place - a lovely setting on a sunny day, stunning views, beautiful garden, dog friendly, little farm shop, friendly staff, and all food is vegan or vegetarian. I understand they also do different evening classes on yoga and making different drinks, chutneys, etc. I had the vegan pizza with mushrooms and it was delicious - not sure what the herbs were that they used on it but worked really well. Also had the garden lemonade, which was delicious. In a nut shell "heaven" - just wish they were open more!

Pros: Great food and lots of vegan options., Stunning setting., Dog friendly.

Cons: Restricted opening hours - be great if it was open

Amazing cafe

This little cafe does the best vegan / veggie food bar none. Simple, home made, fresh flavoursome, imaginative and healthy. Charming friendly staff. Excellent value. Don't be put off by the approach to the barn. The simple decor is warm and welcoming especially by the pizza oven.

Superb Food. A Little Gem!

I found this wonderful place through Happy Cow and I'm so glad I gave this place a try. The food is absolutely wonderful and the staff are too. Best vegan Mushroom Pizza I've ever tasted.

Simple but delicious food in the countryside

We found the restaurant on HappyCow and it was a 10 minute bus ride from Bath where we were visiting without a car. Another 7-10 minute walk from the bus stop and we were there. Bruschetta on wonderful bread with yummy tomato jam, fresh tomatoes and basil. If you like beets, you will love the beet pate. Very simple setting that was a nice break from sightseeing and crowds in beautiful Bath.

Pros: Fresh, light and delicious food, Lovely setting

Cons: Sidewalk is narrow at times, take the natural path

First Vist

The first impression on the entrance to the farm could put you off, but don't let it. As the food and the friendly and helpful staff makes the visit worthwhile. As they have only been open for around 4 weeks and the number of people there when we went. I believe it is going to become very popular. My only concern is that they do not take booking at present and as we had travelled a long distance it could have been touch and go as to whether we got a table. As it was we were ok this time.

Pros: Food very good, staff very friendy and helpful, Good selection from the menu , stunning views across the hills

Cons: Dont be put off by the entrace as we nearly did, Unable to book a table, only open on a few days

Superb

A fantastic little cafe set in a rustic setting amongst a huge plot of home grown veg. Veggie with lots of vegan options. Mezze, pizza, and AMAZING cakes. The vegan carrot cake is glorious. Staff are really friendly and prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

Pros: beautiful setting, lots of vegan options

Cons: A little off the beaten track (but better for it!)
