Tasty vegan fajitas

In a town that has no purely veg restaurants, Casa Mexico is a recommendable option. Though the menu doesn’t specify vegan options, it’s easy to veganize several of the items by holding the cheese and sour cream. They do not use lard for the beans, so that makes it simple. The veg fajitas are delicious and the portions are HUGE.

Do not eat here. Burrito was labeled vegetarian and arrived filled with meat.

We ordered the Burrito Del Jardin (labeled as vegetarian dish) and we asked for it to be made vegan (leave out cheese and sour cream). It arrived and the beans clearly contained meat. I notified the waiter who argued with me that there was no meat despite obvious large pieces of flesh in the beans. This restaurant is not suitable to vegetarians or vegans.

Not a fan

I told them that I was allergic to meat and dairy. They gave me veggie fajitas with shrimp and beans with milk. Thank goodness I saw it before I ate it, I would have gotten so sick.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: Not careful with the removal of meat and dairy. , They didn’t appear to care when I pointed it out.

Favorite Mexican Food in WP

They have a handful of marked vegetarian options that can be made vegan. Service is friendly and quick even when they are busy. Spinach enchiladas and the veggie fajitas are always great and you get a good portion for the price which is hard to find in a ski town.

Pros: Service, Price, Portions

Cons: The Conjunto Norteño music can be intense

Love the garden burrito

We have been a number of times. The garden burrito is great and can be made vegan without the cheese, so this is our go-to

Pros: Delicious and good veggies in the garden burrito, Kid friendly, Inexpensive

Cons: Not a lot of vegan options

Delicious veggie fajitas

The veggie fajitas were a delicious sizzling pan of cauliflower, broccoli, peppers, tomatoes, and other vegetables. Ask for no dairy, as they come with cheese and sour cream. I suspect the refried beans served with them may have been cooked in lard, so do ask about that if you remember to. Black beans may be a vegan option. I also don't know what fat/oil was used to fry the veggies.

I did tell the waitress that I was vegan at the outset, and she said she is a vegetarian. She said all vegetarian options, marked with a leaf on the menu, may be veganized. These include a garden burrito and spinach enchiladas.

Pros: Delicious veggie fajitas , Vegetarian options are marked on menu, Vegetarian options may be veganized

Cons: Few vegan options
