Delicious Mushroom tacos - Edit
Absolutely love the mushroom tacos, and the cauliflower tacos were pretty good too. Guac is a staple. Remember to specify you want things made vegan as the menu lists everything that can be altered to be vegan. Also the brussel sprout tacos made vegan left a lot to be desired.

Ok but not great - Edit
The wagon wheels and chips & guac were great, but the burrito I chose was very heavy on the slaw and just kinda an odd item. I love slaw but there was just too much of it in the burrito and it was basically slaw and cauliflower in a tortilla . Maybe I would've had better luck with the tacos.

The bar is in a great location, and has a good atmosphere inside. The margaritas are amazing, and the vegan tacos we got were okay! Not the best I've ever had, but still pretty tasty (and it's always nice seeing vegan items on the menu!)

Good burrito - Edit
We ate a yummy lunch at Canteen recently. We tried the wagon wheels, tres salsas, Brussels sprouts tacos, and fried cauliflower burrito. Everything was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. I’d definitely go back when in the area again!

Great options, tasty food - Edit
We went early on a Sunday evening and had the place to ourselves. Lots of vegetarian and gluten-sensitive options. Many things could be adapted to be vegan. I had the Baja burrito in a bowl and it was yummy. My 6-year-old had the kids’ nachos and it was enough to feed an adult. My only complaint is that the space itself is chilly.

A Great Place for Vegans! - Edit
Had this on our list of options during our trip to Madison from St Paul! I’m so glad we came in. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were remarkably welcoming an friendly. As soon as we mentioned that we were visiting from out of town, we got some great pointers for sight seeing, activities, and events.
Read moreWhat drew us were the vegan options and they were great! The fried cauliflower tacos and calabacitas tacos (requested vegan) were delightful as were our sides of loaded Mexican rice and chips and guacamole. We’ll definitely come here again next time we’re in town!

Amazing Tacos! - Edit
I love this place! It's my favorite taco place in the Madison area. The menu is has several vegetarian and vegan options, awesome house margaritas, fun atmosphere! Favorite is the fried cauliflower taco!
