Vegan Noodles Suck - Edit
The vegan dumplings were delicious, but oh my gosh the vegan noodles (in the vegan ramen) were terrible! I got delivery, and followed all instructions to prep the soup, but alas the noodles were papery and tasted weird, and definitely did not seem to be fully cooked.

Cockroach in “vegan” ramen - Edit
Ordered here 9/11/2020 and one of our “vegan” ramens had a dead cockroach in it. They tried to refund me ONE ramen for this and I had to call and message them on fb to get a full refund. Would never order from here again.

Ramen-ish - Edit
Food was okay, but it was kind of like eating ramen made by a chef who, while they had read about ramen in books and online, had never eaten real ramen themselves. Nothing wrong with it, but it was honestly only approximately ramen.

Great ramen & dumplings - Edit
Incredible vegan ramen with rice noodles, veggies, and option for house made spicy sauce. Vegan dumplings had a wonderful taste and great texture.

Better Ramen in Madison - Edit
I tried the veggie ramen here with a friend and while overall it was good, it wasn’t great. I found the broth a bit bland. If you’re looking for ramen there are better places in Madison; I’d recommend Morris or Sujeo over Umami for the vegetarians.

What about buns? - Edit
Vegan ramen and dumplings are delicious, but sad to see the tofu buns aren’t vegan (the buns themselves contain milk). Also, the noodles in the vegan ramen are a bit...unfulfilling.

Cons: Vegan noodles are rice noodles, Buns are not vegan

A few nice vegan options - Edit
I appreciate that the vegan items are clearly marked on the menu. The sesame seaweed salad and vegan dumplings were very tasty. Service was warm, helpful, and attentive.

Tasty dumplings and ramen! - Edit
I love this place for a dumpling fix! They also have a vegan ramen option, and there are a few salads that can be made vegan. They're very knowledgeable about what vegan means. The green tea is also super good. Definitely eat here if you're in the area!
