This is a cute little café that offers many different styles of coffee along with breakfast, breakfast items, and baked goods. I really enjoyed the banana banana bread that I had and the iced oat latte. I found it to be a little bit pricey compared to other cafés in the area, but definitely lots of tasty treats..

Small local independent cafe. Great cozy atmosphere. Not a lot of vegan/gf options but they do have them. Their waffles are amazing. Items are marked clearly. I’ve been a number of time and when in town make it a point to go. Oh they make a good cup of espresso and have some really really tasty hot sauces that they serve with your meal and you can purchase for sale. The pear one is super tasty.

Only option was making the classic waffle vegan, which I added fruit to (raspberries and blueberries). It was enjoyable, but would love to see additional options. Cafe is limited by kitchen size though. The cafe does offer a few vegan baked goods though, like muffins, cookies, and squares. I had a strawberry apple muffin, which was very delicious! Will return again, if I'm looking for a light breakfast.

Great Vegan Muffins - Edit
We dropped by The Cannon for a snack on the recommendation of a friend to check out their vegan options. The kitchen was closed as we were there shortly before closing but they did have on offer 2 delicious vegan muffins made in house - Blueberry Lemon and Strawberry Rhubarb. The service was very friendly and they did have both soy and almond milk to make a hot chocolate for my daughter. I inquired about the menu and was told their waffle batter was vegan so we will return one day to sample those. They have a good variety of coffee and teas, hot chocolate, etc available.
