Serves meat, vegan options available. Options are rice, beans, guacamole, tortillas and a burrito stuffed with vegetables and covered with tomato sauce. Open Mon-Wed 10:00am-4:30pm, Fri-Sun 10:00am-4:30pm.
Pleasant venue with a rooftop terrace overlooking Antigua. The menu was extensive, with a few vegetarian options. We settled in for the late afternoon a few times. The service was fairly quick and the staff were friendly. The mixed fruit smoothie was great!
I agree, there was possibly one main dish for vegans (a traditional Guatemalan bean+rice stew/soup) plus sides and drinks. Plenty more for vegetarians but limited for vegans. The stew was good (around $4) and the guac was excellent.
After a week in Antigua, we were extremely bored with tostadas, corn chips, beans, tacos, nachos and similar meals - it was basically all we could eat anywhere. We stopped in here because of good reviews but decided not to stay because the prices were really high (almost the same price for nachos as we paid for a family sized vegetarian pizza at an upmarket restaurant) and the options were no different. I think there was more available for vegetarians.
