Serves meat, vegan options available. Cafe located in front of the main square. The menu has vegan sandwiches, salads, veggie pasta, plus has the option to add coconut milk to the vegetable creams instead of dairy milk and cheese. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Relocated from Jr Ayacucho 952. Open Mon-Tue 7:00am-10:30pm, Thu-Sun 7:00am-10:30pm. Closed Wed.

Okay food - Edit
The green juice was so yummy! I went here twice, one for just a juice and again for dinner but I think I picked the wrong meal! I went for a pasta dish which was tiny tiny pasta, almost grain like but it didn’t feel satisfying and was quite small. They had lots of other options on the menu that looked very good. If I had more time I would have gone back to try the other dishes.

Overpriced and small servings - Edit
We had dinner here because the vegetarian resturants in town were closed. They have clear options on the menu and the staff are knowledgeable about veganism. Soups can have coconut or soy milk added to make vegan.
Read moreWe spent 35 soles on a burger, soup and two coffees, which we felt very overpriced considering how small the burger and soup were. The food was bland, but could be really nice with some more effort into it (the soup was good but too little).
Great that they have vegan options but overpriced!

Tasty food and friendly place - Edit
I can here a few times, the coffee, salads and sandwiches I had were all tasty and good value. They also do lunch boxes to take with you if you're out for the day. The staff are really friendly and it is a nice place to sit if you have some free time.

Meh - Edit
Bit below average even for South America. The attention to detail of the place overall doesn't seem to carry over to the veggie food unfortunately.

Good food - Edit
Went there twice. The first time I gave three stars because the food was nothing special. The second time I went it was really good though. The leek soup with coconut was amazing and the apple tea, too.

Yummy vegan chocolate! - Edit
Had multiple type of vegan chocolate. Oreo type bites and a Snickers bar. Pretty decent burgers and rice dishes

Delicious soy milk and lentil burger - Edit
The soy milk here is so good it tastes like real milk—I had to double check I wasn’t mistaken! The veggie burger was also delightful.

Don't know the word vegan - Edit
If you order a vegan soup and get one with parmesan, then something is definitely gone.
Read moreI was already sad that there are only two (2) vegan options. They mark vegetarian options in the menu card but don't differ between vegan and vegetarian.
When I ask if the lentils burger is vegan the waitress said yes. When I asked if there is no milk and eggs in it, she told me there's eggs in the dough.
So I ordered the vegan version of the cream soup and was surprised to find parmesan cheese in it.
The staff is busy but friendly, but not extraordinary. The atmosphere is nice but cold in temperature, as all doors are constantly open. There is draught.
Pros: cheap, have lunch boxes
Cons: don't understand the word vegan, cold --> freezing, only 2 vegan options

Vegan friendly with many options - Edit
Me and my boyfriend came to Chachapoyas just for two days, we arrived on Saturday and unfortunately the o my vegetarian restaurant in the city is closed on Saturdays. We walked around the main square trying to find somewhere else and luckily found this nice place, the menu have 3 already vegan Sandwiches including lentil burger. They have pasta if you feel hungrier and they give the option to add coconut milk on the veggie creams instead of milk and cheese. Prices are inexpensive, have free WiFi and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
