Mostly regional and seasonal ingredients; gluten-free and soy-free options. Shelves offer some products for sale. Tip goes to charity organizations. Confirmed closed, Dec 2017.

Super leckeres Essen, große Auswahl und wechselnde Latte je nach Saison und Verfügbarkeit der jeweiligen Rohstoffe! Ich gehe gerne hier essen! Auch die Küchen sind toll! Meiner Meinung nach könnten teilweise die portionegrössen etwas größer sein! Aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau

Even when it is not fully vegan, you have enough vegan options to be satisfied! This Café is a bless for everyone who happens to come through Bochum. It is next to the main station so make sure to visit even if you only got 10 minutes!

Bedienungen nett, wenn auch durch mehr Leute schnell gestresst.
Es gibt eine Art Meditationsmusik, die mir allerdings zu laut war. Als laute Musik ist das unpassend und nervig, als leise Hintergrundmusik wäre es ok.

I arrived in Bochum quite late and was very happy to find this cafe very close to the main train station. I had a vegan quiche with salad and it was delicious, although the portion could have been bigger. Having said that, it only cost 7.90 €, so I should just have ordered another one. The waitress was lovely and didn't charge me for a glass of tap water. Highly recommended!

After spending almost 30 EUR on a breakfast (quality fine) plus tips we asked them friendly to fill our thermos with hot water (simple hot water) for our further journey. The one owner accepted and when the other one realized about that (she served us before and knew that we were paying customers) she interfered in a snippy way saying that she needs to charge us 2,50 EUR for this hot water. We were absolutely speechless and explained her that it's just regular hot water we were asking but she insists. As we denied paying that amount of money she poured the water in the sink. We have no words for this kind of behaviour and would never go there again.

it's the only decent restaurant around this area, although it isn't 100% vegan, it has plenty of vegan options and food here is prepared with love and care. The staff is off the charts nice, but never too intrusive. a great balance just like their food.

Colourful Variety of Vegan Delights - Edit
The two owners of Corba, Corinna and Barbara are very open and friendly and got something great going on in their bright green and cozy venue just across the main station in Bochum.
Read moreI had a veggie casserole accompanied with a small mixed salad with their homemade raspberry vinegar and rounded with some couscous. I chose a "herbal harmony" tea from the extensive drink menu to go along with this pleasantly light dish. The casserole was a good mix with a crispy outside and creamy veggies inside.
The real highlight for me, however, was desert: Lemon cake with fresh vegan creme and a zesty espresso. Yummy.
Having lunch at Corba certainly added some colorful moments to this grey October day. Given my experience today I am sure that Corba soon will become an institution for vegans in this area.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal im Cafe Corba und sehr begeistert. Wir haben ein Bauernbrot zum Frühstück und hinterher noch Kuchen gegessen. Alles war super lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich :) wir kommen wieder!
