Not bad

Beautiful venue and several options on the menu that can be adapted for vegans. The burrito was huge but the cubes of tofu were very chewy (fried too long). The quinaufa with tofu (no egg) was a very boring fried rice. I asked if it contained vegetables and was told yes, but it only came with a few thin strips on the side. It desperately needed soy sauce, garlic, ginger, something to give it flavour. Both times I went food took a long time to arrive.

Good vegetarian/vegan options

Several sandwiches and burrito's that are vegan/vegetarian. Great taste, fresh vegetables.

Great burrito

Tofu burrito with no cheese; very tasty and filling. A lovely spacious cafe with a library. Very loud music though so couldn’t concentrate on reading sadly

Cozy cafe

Cafe Andino is on the third floor and is a cozy wooden space with a small library. If you’re lucky you’ll be assigned seating in the windowed area above the streets.

There are many veggie options. I really enjoyed the salad. The burrito was nice but not super filling. Prices are reasonable.

The best part of the cafe is its extended hours since the vegetarian restaurants in town have short hours in the afternoon.

Yummy burritos

Tried the tofu burrito here, asked them to remove the queso (cheese). It was really delicious. There aren’t many restaurants in Huaraz like this one. The ambiance is lovely and staff very friendly. And we got some free salsa.

Lovely cafe

This is a lovely place to sit with a coffee or have a meal. Beautifully decorated and they have a terrace with good views of the city. Quite a few different options for vegan drinks and food. Everything I tried was delicious.

The vegan option are delicious

So far this one is, for me, the best place in Huaraz. Vegan tofu salad super and vegan burrito as well.

Hit the spot!

We ordered the vegetarian burrito without cheese and the vegetarian chaufa without eggs. Both dishes were amazing and exactly what we were in the mood for.

A colorful nice place to stay. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Veggie menus are good and can be easily veganized.

Great place!

Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Many vegan options! I tried 3 different dishes, all were great - tofu sesame salad, tofu avocado sandwich and tofu curry. Staff allowed doing one of the starters vegan by removing cheese. Very recommended.

Good choices

Good vegan options. Had the veggie burrito without cheese but it came with a tiny amount of rice which was a bit disappointing.

Pros: Good options, Tofu on the menu

Cons: Pricier than other places

Delicious!

Good food, a little expensive for Peru but the portion sizes made up for it. Serves meat but has some good veggie options. Would eat here again!

Best place for dinner after a long hike

Wooden floors, fire place, library area, good music playlist, balcony with views, nice staff, vegan options (curries, fried rice/quinoa, soy milk), this place was just heaven after a long trek! Order the passion fruit juice that comes in a 1L jar, its cheap, sweet and addictive.

Pros: Cosy, cosy and cosy , Vegan options , Very good service

multiple veg options

Big portions. kinda pricey (for peru). They bring you tons of condiments which i love. hard to find though. just follow google maps or look for a stair case.

Pros: big portions

Cons: semi pricey, but worth it.

Qué Rico!

Very impressed. although meat is available on the menu, the vegetarian options are great! the salads alone are very filling and rich with lush greens. My hungry boyfriend and I could share 1 quinoa tofu plate and we're full and satisfied. They brought all of the food out at once, with about 5 different condiments, and oil and vinegar. they also have great coffee from a machine, which I found difficult to find in this town. the setting is calm. lots of art work, a library and groovy music! menus I'm english and spanish. the workers were very kind and attentive. love this place.
