Best middle eastern food

The menu is clearly labeled, with half of the menu being vegan. They have the best hummus I’ve ever had and each platter is filling and has a lot of food. Definitely must try if in the area.

The Real Deal

I'm in love with the small, simple menu. You can't go wrong with any vegan option.

Authentic Lebanese w/ Numerous Vegan Options

We would give 5 stars if possible. Food was fresh and authentic. The menu was clearly labeled for vegan options. Service was great. Babaghannouj was delicious, as were the other items on the platters we ordered. The maza platter and mousakaa combo provided plenty of food for two.

Pros: Clearly labeled menu, Many vegan options, Friendly, fast service

Pretty tasty vegan Mediterranean

I enjoyed the food here. I had the falafel and a hummus plate with dolmas and Mediterranean salad. I sort of made my own pita pockets with the salad, hummus and falafel. The falafel was just ok. It tasted frozen. Everything else was delicious. This seems like a quaint family run business. They are BYOB. We brought a bottle of wine to enjoy with the food. Service was outstanding. They are very vegan friendly.

Pros: Lots of vegan options.

Cons: Meh falafel

Sweet Staff & So Cozy

With a warm cup of white tea in my hands, I very much enjoyed my evening here. The food was fantastic, so many options. The staff was sweet and helpful with all of my questions. They were also so attentive.

The adventure to the back bathroom through the kitchen area is also pretty nifty. The overall decor is eclectic, yet warm. I felt so comfortable here.

delightful food and service

Intimate space, authentic food, ample vegan options. Brought 2 omnivores, 1 being new to Lebanese cuisine. All plates left our table polished off. Server was kind, jovial and very helpful. Simply delicious food!

Pros: well marked menu, decent portions, authentic dining experience

Great Lebanese Food with great vegan options

This locally owned and operated restaurant is a treat to visit. Over 1/3 of the menu is vegan and well labeled. Obviously all the standard Lebanese cuisine is vegan (falafel, Mousakaa, Moujadara), but they also have dishes that are much more difficult to find vegan options like the grape leaves (a favorite), and a Veggie Kebbeh.

It's BYOB and no corking fee so bring a bottle or two of your favorite wine and settle in for a great meal. It's also a great place to come with your non-vegan friends to give them the opportunity to try legitimately good vegan options.

Pros: locally owned and operated, great food and service, large variety of vegan choices

Cons: BYOB (so bring wine with you-no corking fee)

Typical Mediterranean Food

Hummus, grape leaves, baba ganoush, etc. Food is OK, but nothing special, Vegan options are listed on
menu. pretty expensive for such simple food. Hummus, pita, bulgar wheat, and small salad was over $14.

Pros: Vegan options listed , Friendly staff

Cons: Expensive , so-so food , street parking only

Lovely staff and delicious food

This restaurant is a favorite of mine. Vegetarian and vegan options on the menu are clearly labeled. I usually get the falafel platter. Their hummus and their salads are amazing. It's also a great place to go with a mixed group of eaters with plenty of choices for everyone.

The restaurant itself is fairly small, with homey decorations. The folks who work here are incredibly nice (and they are knowledgeable about dietary restrictions). Be ready for your meal to take a little while if you are eating sit-in.

Pros: Delicious, Labeled vegan options, Friendly and attentive staff

Cons: Sit-down meal is a little slow at times

delicious

We had been anticipating trying Byblos out. Very worth the wait. The beautiful paintings on the wall. The sweet woman taking extra strides to make sure we loved every minute of our visit. Felt like we were at home. I highly recommend the shawarma and the zataar. The fattoush had a smooth delicious taste. The hommous like none other. And the falafel sandwich was excellent. We will definitely frequent Byblos and recommend that you do as well.

Pros: service, vegan options, seasonings

Cons: none, none, none

Mostly vegan and delicious

This is a small restaurant and take-out restaurant in Federal Hill. More than half the menu items are vegan and noted with a "v" on the menu. The food was delicious (little oil used too). The staff was wonderful and helpful too.

Pros: More than half the items are vegan, Helpful and knowledgeable staff, Good portions
