Dreaming of burger patch - Edit
Love to stop at burger patch when in Sacramento and now I get to go in Davis. One of my favorite places and dream of it when I am far away (since I don’t live nearby). Everything is good here

Not exactly proud of myself for eating here. But it was late and I was hungry. Somehow eating vegan turned into processed, garbage, comfort food restaurants. But, sometimes a little trash goes a long way.

Man oh man, where do I start? Burger patch holds a special place in my heart. Regardless if you’re at the Sacramento location or Davis location both are superb. It’s a burger join, everything on the menu is vegan, and everything on the menu is damn good.

The staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean, the food is delicious, and they use compostable packaging. Best thing of all is that I can order absolutely anything on the menu and know it’s 100% vegan. I hope this business expands rapidly :-)

This is our favorite vegan restaurant. We drive 75 minutes one way to come to this restaurant! It’s worth it. Reliably good burgers and chick’n sandwiches. Bring a blanket and eat on the grass outside! Then stroll through the arboretum.

I love any meal from “the patch”. Seriously, it was the first place I ate when I moved to Davis. People make fun of me because I’m just blown away by how good the place is and will tell anyone who will stop long enough to listen. Now, the thing is - if the burgers, chicken, Mac, pulled “pork”, and fries are awesome, the breakfast this place serves up is mind bending. The patch breakfast sandwich is my favorite - it comes with what I understand is a home made “egg” patty, “sausage” patty, and a slice of “cheddar” that is always actually melted. Mind blowing, right? Oh yea - don’t forget the hash browns. These things are so perfectly salty and crispy, you wish they were served all damn day! They have other breakfast options as well - a burrito currently I think. I’ve only tried it once and it was great.

I'm a sucker for vegan fast food & this is the place to express that passion. From the signature patch fries to the simple yet satisfying kind burgers, they are all so delicious, you can't go wrong! My favorite at the moment is the coffee float, omg it is to die for and I hope they never take it away from me as it is limited time only😒. I really love their seasonal perks like the specialized shakes or sandwiches ect they promote for the current season.

I liked the chili patch spuds - the liquid cheese was great. I would order this again. The ultimate spicy chicken burger was spicy, which was nice, and it had lots of sauce, which was also nice. In the ranch burger, I didn’t really taste the ranch. With both burgers there was some underlying flavor that I wasn't the biggest fan of and I don't know what it was. The mac and cheese bowl was fine. The Patch Slaw was nice for fresh veg and could be good as a burger topping.

i tried the mushroom swiss burger and immediately fell in love - i await the day that it returns to the menu. i also had the pumpkin pie shake w a vanilla base and it was a bit sweet but it was yummy. on another day, i had the chicken sandwich and enjoyed it immensely. i want to try more than the menu if my wallet will allow for it lol

Love their plant based menu. The nacho sauce is amazing, love it on fries. The Mac and Cheese is sooo good. Milkshakes are the best. I moved hours away but always stop for a bite when I drive back to the area.

I wish I had a Burger Patch closer to me because this was worth the trip!! Such a cute little joint with lots of options. I wanted to order everything on the menu haha. I ended up defining on the Spicy chicken sandwich, root beer float, and sweet potato waffle fries. Everything was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend if you're in the Davis area.

We stopped in town to use the EVGo DC fast chargers around the corner. Saw this place not knowing it was all plant based food. Not really hungry but had to try something. Got chocolate shake and wife got fries. The chocolate shake was really thick and tasty. Fries were crunchy and not greasy. Want to come back and try more food.

I really like Burger Patch and I'm glad they opened up in Davis because their Sacramento location is always packed! This restaraunt is completely vegan and they pretty much have everything you could really ask for in fast food. I've brought multiple non-vegans here and everyone has loved it so far. I enjoy the chick'n burgers more than the beef-type burgers, but that's just me. The Beyond burgers are great too. I also like their style of french fries which is thin and crispy. The soft serve milk shakes are to die for, and I highly recommend saving room for dessert. I haven't tried the mac n' cheeze yet because I never think I'll be able to eat that much, but I plan to try it soon! (Let me know how it is ;)

I love the burgers and fries at this place. The tenders might be improved, I think they are just your regular Gardein tenders, but still taste good. I like the cheese sauce and their ranch. It’s a little overpriced in my opinion but great for when you really crave a burger, hits the spot!!
Read moreSome things to note: They’re a little slow for a fast food place. I recommend ordering online and picking it up, otherwise you have to wait in a small area for about 30mins. It’s around 20 if you pickup. They also don’t take cash, I don’t know if it’s cause of COVID or if they just don’t. But overall love the place, I’m there every 2 weeks 🥰🥰

Ordered via GrubHub tonight. Ordered 2 BBQ patch burgers with fries. Ordered subs and add-ons and everything was delivered just as ordered. The burgers were really good, amazing actually. They had to travel about 15 min to get to us and they were still good. The fries were also really good. We ordered cookies, too, and they were really good, too. Highly recommend.

Always used to drive to sac for this, but now it’s in Davis! It’s 100% vegan, and has traditional fast food items including burgers, shakes (!), fries, and more. Everything is absolutely delicious (and my non vegan boyfriend LOVES it), however what stands out to me is the shakes. Most vegans pretty much give up on milkshakes but this is SO GOOD!!
Read moreThey are also environmentally conscious packaging wise, as all of the packaging their food comes in is 100% compostable which is extremely important to me. They are also very active in the community and give back whenever possible.
Overall this is a great business with some delicious food and you shouldn’t hesitate to try it out!
