Couldn’t find it - Edit

We think the place doesn’t exist anymore. We walked to the marked location because we wanted to try a Burek, but couldn’t find it. Unfortunately it seems like it closed down or it moved.

Very tasty! - Edit

Their pitas are super tasty, from vegan ones they have tikvenjaca (zucchini), krompirusa (potato) and pita od jabuka (apple)!

Delicious Vegan Balkan Burek - Edit

We had the crumpiriza (potato) and the tikvitza (zucchini). They were both delicious. All they need is some natural soy yogurt to go with it. If you want to try vegan burek then this is the spot. Not all burek options are vegan. Make sure you ask what is vegan before ordering.

Best Burek in the area! - Edit

These Burek are of the straight Bosnian style, sold by weight (they work out as the cheapest we know in Zagreb). They are of the slightly greasy sort and there are only three vegan options, but then again most bakeries only have one! I suggest trying this place out and when you do join my campaign of gentle customer persuasion to add mushrooms to their options and eventually no meat!

Pros: Cheap good Burek, Two savoury and one sweet option, Friendly but not much English spoken!

Cons: Meat options, 5 mins on bicycle from Zagreb centre
