We felt very welcome here but only came for drinks. Cosy chairs, good atmosphere, great find in busy city. Would come here for food another time😄
Read moreUpdate 2024: came here for food, quiet Friday at noon. Service felt a bit offhand. But food was correct when it came. Initially cooked wrong and the waitress sent it back on our behalf. None of the beers seemed vegan although the waitress had to go and ask and that seemed a slight pain for her! But then again it is a social enterprise giving people employment who struggle in life. Not sure any more if we would recommend to others or not

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst vegan enemy - Edit
I ate here earlier this week. When my food was brought to the table, I was explicitly told it was vegan. After eating some of it, I realized that it was, in fact, meat and dairy. I became very ill, as I have not eaten meat or dairy in 8 years. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst vegan enemy.

Cosy, warm food - Edit
Place was cosy, and when I went it wasn’t too busy. Had the nachos and mushroom croquettes (they were my fav!). Beer was good too. Would recommend this place as something a bit different. Not too many vegan options, but enough to enjoy.

I go here fairly regularly, usually with visitors to the city. My word of warning is that there's a milk stout in the tasting flight and they do some hot dishes which can be quite pungent if you're sitting nearby. Otherwise, it's a good time. Not many tourists, considering it's right by the red light district.
