Serves meat, vegan options available. French soul food cafe with vegan choices. Menu includes vegan blackened tofu hash, tofu poboy, sloppy Joe and various sides. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-8:00pm.
Had the fried cauliflower and creole potato salad. When I asked the staff whether the potato salad was vegan (to double check) he seemed very unsure, but another one confirmed it was. The food took 45 minutes to arrive and the cauliflower was so greasy and salty. The potato salad wasn't something to call home about. The cherry on top was the intestinal distress for the several hours following the brunch.
I came for brunch and tried the blackened tofu and potato hash, which was really yummy! Vegan items are clearly marked. I would come back again to try one of the three flavors of vegan po’ boy.
