Better groceries nearby

I have lived near this Breaux's for years and am surprised to see it with 5 stars. They do not have take away premade vegan options. It is a medium sized grocery store with inconsistent vegan options. The produce section is some of the worst in town. There's some vegan protein options and milk as well as grocery basics. But there are grocery stores nearby with a lot more and better vegan options. I'd recommend Fresh Market on St Charles.

All-round good place to get ingredients

Good non-dairy creamer options for coffees; amazing veg. Good vegetarian options too on deli foods-though little vegan deli options

A lifesaver

On New Year's Day the veggie restaurants were closed and we were hungry! Breaux Mart was the perfect solution. Delicious deli, take away & salads - all clearly marked vegetarian where appropriate. Also lots of veggie/organic produce in the general aisles. We had a feast to take back to our B & B - luckily with microwave. And also our picnic for the next day. Thank you Breaux mart.
