A lovely Scottish Cafe - Edit
We enjoyed our Yellow Pea soup very much and were delighted that they had brown bread sandwiches, toasties, baked potatoes & vegan cakes! Plus they offer vegan cheese and plant milk. Very nice traditional style and ambience!

Great Vegan Breakfast - Edit

Read moreOn my first visit I had a vegan cheese toastie, which was delicious. I was too late for breakfast (which is served 10am - 11.30am mon-sat and 10am - 14.45 on a sunday) so returned the next day at 10am to give it a try.
I was not disappointed!! It came with 2 sausages, mushrooms, tomato, beans, tattie scone, fried potato and toast (choice of white and brown, and was asked if I wanted vegan spread which is always appreciated and shows great attention to detail). It was lovely, one of the best vegan breakfasts I have eaten. The fried potato was superb, and everything was cooked to perfection.
All in all, a friendly and welcoming cafe with a decent range of vegan options (vegan cheese for sandwiches/toasties/paninis/baked potatoes etc) and daily specials which seem to always include at least one vegan soup. There is also oat milk available for coffee.
