I am still thinking about the vegan seitan kebab wrap and chocolate caramel cookie that I had here, they were SO GOOD. friendly service, slightly more pricey than some vegan places but it's SO worth it 🤩🤩 make sure to visit if you're in Aberdeen!!!

Amazing amazing amazing - Edit
So glad we found this little place! Completely vegan food and drinks menu. Delightful little outdoor seating terrace and downstairs shop. The menu was great and I had the tofu benny with added hash brown and my partner had the seitan kebab. The drinks menu was extensive and the chai latte was lovely. Reasonably priced and all round good experience

Great Breakfast! - Edit
A great little vegan cafe that serves a small but varied menu all day. Breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced, I'd especially recommend the tofu benny (one of the best I've tried!). Great coffee with either pea or oat milk.
Read moreAs of 2021 the only seating is the upstairs roof garden so even on a sunny day it can be breezy!
Pros: Good small menu, excellent coffee, friendly staff

The best - Edit
Simply the best place in Aberdeen. It's small, and when busy can't always seat you... But the food is more than worth it! Great staff, great dishes, great coffee... Also I used to buy their "cake edges" (brownie offcuts) which were crispy and delicious for just £1. Their luxury hot chocolate is also to die for. Just amazing, thanks Bonobo!!

A Must Visit! - Edit
Went for breakfast and weren’t disappointed. We were greeted by friendly staff who explained the routine (as it was our first visit). Mixture of seating combinations upstairs as well as a lovely out door seating area complete with heat lamps and a friendly but sleepy cat.
Read moreDidn’t have to wait long for our order to arrive. Our breakfasts were delicious! Plenty on the plate too. Having eaten in a number of vegan premises I would say that it was really good value for money.
Went back to get a slice of banana cake and a donut. Unfortunately the donuts were all sold out but I would recommend the banana cake. Moist and full of flavour.
Coffee gets a thumbs up too. All in all a great place to eat.
Pros: Something for all tastes, Great selection of cakes and pastries , Fantastic staff

Feels like coming home! - Edit
I try to visit this wee place whenever I’m in Aberdeen. Not only because the food is comforting and delicious, but also because the staff are ALWAYS friendly and attentive. Great for a Sunday brunch.... and coffee and cake (fika!)... and vegan takes on classic comfort foods. I’ve been here with non-vegans too, and they love it.

Amazing! No review I can write would do this justice - Edit
I have been to this place pretty much every time I visit Aberdeen and when I lived in Aberdeen I made a point to bring anyone fortunate enough to visit. Wonderful selection of really tasty, healthy food. Great for hot drinks and meeting a friend. Fantastic selection of baked goods. Beautiful cozy upstairs room and gorgeous outside eating area with small garden. Everything is bright, colourful and cheerful- a great place to escape the greyness of Aberdeen!
Read moreI took my parents here and my mom almost cried with happiness the first time she came. She's a vegan in a small German village and when she came she could not believe it was 100% vegan. She kept asking me what on the menu she "could" order that was vegan and it took multiple explanations for her to realise she could have ANYTHING. She was so excited she couldn't stop talking about it for MONTHS afterwards. She brought my dad to it, who is an incredibly hard to please omnivore. He was enchanted with the scones. He also liked the hotpot curry (admittedly not as much as my mum, who has made it some kind of mission when she visits Scotland to get something new at Bonobos).
My favourite was a peanut butter brownie when I went-- the cake selection changes regularly. Their breakfasts are to die for. If you are the type of person who likes to takes pictures of their food you NEED to get a beetroot latte. That might sound weird but it tastes WONDERFUL and is SUPER PRETTY.
Pros: Tasty, Friendly, You just feel really good about eating there
Cons: Can be super busy (understandably).

Adorable! - Edit
Best place we’ve eaten at in Scotland by far! Food was delicious. They have a pretty cat. They’re a non-profit co-op which the (very friendly) waiter described as being a way to “fight capitalism” because they’re “anarchists” which are “actually very peaceful and you should look into it”. We were there at closing time and felt very bad about imposing but they seemed glad to have us and gave us a huge piece of banana bread and a brownie and a sandwich for free because they were closing up soon and wanted to thank us for picking them on our vacation. Decor is lovely. Food is all vegan, and they have a cute outdoor sitting area up top with a lovely little garden. You should definitely check it out!

Absolutely fantastic - Edit
Couldn't have been happier with this place. The carrot lox and cream cheese toastie was the best vegan cheese sandwich I've ever had, and I've tried lots! The desserts were supremely decadent. Portions sizes were just right for lunch after a long day exploring the city on foot. Staff were very friendly and there was a roaming cat to keep us company. The rooftop patio and garden was so cheering.

I was here for a late lunch and one of the best mac & cheeses I've ever had. It was very creamy, and had black sesame and an accompaniment of potato scones (a Scottish delicacy). It's the first time I've ever had potato scones with sunflower seeds in the same dish (on the salad garnish)!
Read moreI also had a delicious scone, and a dirty chai latte - made with a double espresso.
We had a bit of a wait for food, but it's a small kitchen and was very busy when arrived. They have a nice garden area out the back with a seating area; we sat inside as we couldn't get a table outside. I'd definitely go back and have one of the wraps I also had my eye on.
Pros: Tasty food, Variety of hot drinks, Nice outdoor seating area
Cons: Bit of a wait for food

Best. Coffee. Ever. - Edit
The place is amazing! So authentic and natural. Not only the place, also the staff. Try sitting on the terrace in summer! It's beautifully painted and they have a small garden. Very relaxing. Being served a cappuccino with the words: "Here you are, sunshine" and with the brightest and most honest smile I've ever seen on a waitress. So, the staff is fantastic, the food tastes like heaven and the coffee is the best vegan coffee I ever had. Thank you, Bonobo Café :)
