Good hummus

Fancied a snack on a cold autumn day. Tried out this place in the city center of Ghent. Really good hummus. They have a few vegan options.

Pros: Cosy, Good quality food

Cons: Not fully vegan

Israeli street food experience

This was their first week opening in Ghent. Their fourth restaurant opening in 3 years and I can see why. The food resembles a lot the neighbouring middle-eastern countries. You've got the classic hummus, baba ganoush and shakshuke which were all delicious.
We chose the 'balagan experience' which includes a variety mezzes, a drink and a dessert. It's not vegan straight away, but they immedietely offered to veganize it. E.g they swapped out the labneh for the falafel and left out the egg in the shakshuka.
The staff were all super friendly!

Sidenote: we made notion that labneh is labeled vegan on the site, but it's not. We were told they were going to change it. But just in case.

Pros: Atmosphere, Not your average middle-eastern restaurant, Staff

Cons: Labneh labeled vegan, but is veggie
