Een aantal keer deze zaak bezocht en telkens goed meegevallen.

De gerechten zijn plantaardig, de hoofdgerechten kunnen worden aangevuld met vlees of vis maar dit is totaal overbodig, zonder aanvulling van dierlijke producten zijn de hoofdgerechten compleet, verfijnd en heel lekker.
Iedere keer we dit restaurant bezoeken lijkt het niveau van de gerechten hoger te liggen!
De mocktails en cocktails zijn van een uitmuntende kwaliteit en prachtig geserveerd!
Door de dierlijke opties kan ik geen vijf sterren geven.

The menus basis is vegan, you can add meat or fish. Very suitable for vegans that don’t mind it too much to eat at those kinds of places. The staff is really nice! House made pastas are nice, but not outstanding! Good for an evening. We didn’t try the lunch or pizzas though!

One of my favourite restaurants in Ghent - Edit
With pain in my heart the cheese croquet is off the menu but the vegan cheese fondue is a great alternative! The chef knows how to play with tastes. Personally the pizza's are better than most of the pasta's. I come here couple times a year and always leave satisfied. Also the interior deserves a mention!!!

Mon mari (flexi) et moi (vegane) nous y sommes rendus pour notre anniversaire de mariage ce 10/02/2024 et nous avons pu bénéficier du menu de la saint Valentin. Tout était absolument délicieux. C'est un resto chic avec des allures gastronomiques. Les prix sont un peu élevés mais hormis les 8€ pour un litre d'eau du robinet (aïe) ça les vaut largement !

Vegan friendly, delicious food in a wonderful environment - Edit
While they do offer not vegan additions to their meals it is essentially plant-based. A bit more pricey but overall a wonderful place to have lunch or dinner. The portions are quite large so either go very hungry or share a plate. Highly recommend.

This is a glutenfree restaurant, not vegan. The start of all dishes is plantbased but it's advised to add meat (even minced lamb is on the menu) and dairy (none of the cheeses are actually vegetarian so all vegetarians were screwed over).

Service was fine. I mean, we all expect a certain level of friendliness and hospitality when going to a restaurant.
Food was beautifully presented and what was on offer was unique and intriguing. And I wish I loved it. But I didn't.
Had the degustation menu (price is in theory very reasonable... it's not their fault I didn't like the food). The shittake mushrooms were served in three flavour combinations: one was okay, one was too acidic and the other one sickly sweet (?!). Cheese croquettes were fine, but the puree it was sitting on was bland. The endive "sushi" was the best of the starters, but again there was a weird and very sweet cream sauce with it. I ordered the pasta main with wild mushrooms. Not a lot of mushrooms and what was there were nothing exciting. Pasta was bland and tasted like it was based on that sweet cream sauce that seemed to be in everything.
I know you're supposed to take your time to enjoy a degustation menu. But the wait was soooooooo long between courses I was famished and then just not hungry by the time the main arrived.
But I did love the rose lemonade and the delicate "shrimp chips" they serve in lieu of bread. I would have been happier with just those two things.
Reservation was easily made and staff were helpful and responsive when I emailed about the menu. (No surprise you need to book. It's the case with most restaurants, especially on wknds.)

We hadden een soort formule die bestond uit hapjes en een hoofdgerecht. De hapjes waren echt heel lekker. Als hoofdgerecht had ik een pizza, maar die was een beetje smakeloos. Op mijn vraag hadden ze de koriander weggelaten, waardoor de pizza er wat kaal uitzag. De dienster had ook niet begrepen dat het peterselie mocht zijn in plaats van koriander.

Eclectic place for fine food - Edit
Had lunch here and we went for the sharing option. A lot of courses, suggested by the chef. Some easy to share in 4, some more bizarre 😅 Nonetheless great flavours and interesting presentation. I didn’t saw the bill but guess that was interesting too.

Great tasting menu - Edit
We had the tasting menu which included a variety of smaller dishes to share followed by a main dish (pizza or pasta) The shared dishes were lovely with amazing flavors. Notably the artichoke with dip and the watermelon/feta salad. Unfortunately the pasta (la Vita e Bella) was underwhelming and quite basic. I understand if you came just for that it would be a disappointment. The setting is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The portions are big enough and I have no complaints about the wait time. I'd give 3.5 stars if happycow allowed it.

The pasta, however, I found disappointing. I went for the Artémis and the pasta itself was overcooked. Overall I had the feeling that I could easily make this myself.
There is a light degustatiemenu, but unfortunately only for lunch. I feel like this would have been a better choice.
Considering what each dish costs separately and the amount of food you get, the Degustatiemenu is reasonably priced. The drinks though are very expensive in my opinion.
Also worth noting that the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful

Everything on the menu is vegan and glutenfree. Great! It is however not a vegan restaurant as the dishes can be pimped with non-vegan extras: salmon, chicken, cheese, ...
I asked whether there are also vegan extras to put on the dishes but the waitress seemd to be taken by surprise by my question. (well, if you can have extras, why no vegan extras? like soy pieces, or seitan, or tempeh, ...?).
We had the shared starters from the menu: vegetable fries wit tartar sauce, vegetables for cheese fondu and edamame beans.
These were very nice. The cheese sauce (fondu) was only lukewarm.
As main dishes we had a butternut pizza and the sweet potato 'pasta' with vegs and peanut sauce. (the sweet potato is the pasta).
Not really convinced by these dishes. Very original and nice presentation, but all in all quite monotone tasting. The pizza was like eating a plate of heavy butternut soup. And the 'pasta' - given that it ws all vegetables, was quite heavy.
All in all: a very long wait. We were intrigued by the vegan cheese dessert platter, but were already stuffed and by that time (nearly 2 hours) also wanted to leave.
Entrance is accessible (just) and first half of restaurant room is on ground floor. Then one large step to go further back. No accessible toilet.

Wauw, we enjoyed it! It is the best dinner I’ve had since a long time. We had the tasting menu, and choose the beetroot spaghetti and green pizza as mains. Also the home Made iced tea is tasty.

Wij gingen op bezoek nadat ze de BE-Veganaward gewonnen hadden en waren een beetje teleurgesteld door het aanbod. Door alle pers waren onze verwachtingen misschien wat te hoog gespannen. We hadden een aantal voorgerechtjes om te delen en twee pasta's als hoofdgerecht. Bij alles misten we wat smaak, het was oké, maar ook niet meer dan dat.
