Best sushi I've had! - Edit
Every vegan sushi roll I tried was intricately put together and full of flavor. The fresh shitake mushrooms in the miso soup brought a nice texture to it. I also loved the sweet Inari Nigiri. The great service and well-labeled vegan options were a huge bonus too!

So many options for V/GF folks like me - Edit
Not only is the sushi absolutely delicious, but they have an extensive vegan menu and most of the options can also be made gluten free. Everything is clearly labeled. Which means, I can eat there! I highly recommend.

Terrible Customer Service, Inept Management, & uninterested employees. Plenty of other sushi places. They don’t even deserve to be in business

vegan options labeled - Edit
Centrally located in the downtown Naperville area. Walked around as there was a waitlist. Street parking. Nice vibe inside. Outdoor seating available. I tried the vegan miso soup, jasmine tea and cowgirl. The wait for it was so long though. Definitely order an appetizer, you may wait long for your main dish.

My favorite restaurant!! - Edit
This place is SOOOOO good!! They have so many vegan options that it was too hard to decide what to get — which literally never happens to me at restaurants with vegan options. I love this place!

The Menu Has a Vegan Section! - Edit
I had the Shiitake To Me maki, the Vegan Black Dragon maki, and the Kaluna nigiri. I absolutely loved the Shiitake to Me maki, and I will definitely go back for another order of those.

Best sushi I’ve ever had. Recommended for big groups. - Edit
We went in a group of 7, and ordered, I think, 10 different maki varieties. Some of them were similar, but all of them were phenomenally delicious and unique from regular sushi places. The extensive vegan menu had around 18 options, featuring elements like eggplant eel, vegan cream cheese, “shrimp” tempura, crispy cabbage, assembled intricately with classic components like avocado and tofu, drizzled in the most flavourful sauces.
Read moreMy favorites were the Thai Hippie, Shiitake to Me and crunchy cabbage - tho as I said, everything was phenomenal.
We also ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts, marinated cucumber and the chocolate torte and raspberry sorbet dessert. Those were good, tho the most mindblowing was definitely the sushi.

VEGAN Apps and sushi GALORE - Edit
My favorite Naperville restaurant hands down.
Read moreI love the lettuce wraps. Get them with tofu and thank me later. The sushi is incredible but I don't care for their mock tuna. The tomato spicy tuna was the best. I am a sucker for brussel sprouts and these are irresistible. A normal bill would be about $35-$40 plus tip just for me. A supervisor mentioned that the vegan community helped keep them in business during covid and I believe it!
Pros: VEGAN food selection is VAST, Service is warm & friendly, Happy hour
Cons: Vegan tuna is not great, Consistency can vary

Fifth time here and an excellent experience every time. Management and staff are incredible. Worth the 45 minute drive it takes us to get here each way. By far, my favorite vegan food in the Chicagoland area.

solid options & exciting sushi - Edit
I've gone here many a times for some solid sushi choices! I'd say there's roughly 10 good options for rolls, maybe a total of 15 rolls to pick from. There are a lot of flavor options and the happy includes most all of them! They did up the prices for the happy hour recently, but i don't care much.
Read moreTry the cowgirl if you like bbq, shitake to me if you dig mushies and I can't say no to the spicy "tuna" tomato and prince roll (eggplant)!
They gave me shrimp by mistake one time (thankfully I saw it before chowing down, but still...), they were very quick to fix it and seemed genuine in their concern, as I was clear that I was vegan. One mistake does not make a restaurant.
Pros: lots of options, variety of flavors, local and vibe are solid
Cons: the weight staff is always eh., service is lacking a bit (never rude), just upped their happy hour prices

I did notice some of the happy hour items have seen a price increase, that's too bad.

Deserves 5 stars - Edit
Blue Sushi is exceptional. The vegan menu is amazing and exceptional all the rolls we had were so unique. For those who miss typical sushi flavors I say order the green goddess. We had South Pacific, cow girl, shiitake, cabbage crunch, green goddess, thai hippie. Each was fabulous. I’ve never been so happy. Our server was vegan and was so fabulous. Got to sit outside because it was a beautiful day. I will drive over an hour to eat there again. Very very happy.

Freaking Amazing - Edit
I loved every roll we ordered and we even got an extra one from the server to try. I couldn’t believe they even had vegan fish eggs. The only downsides are that I don’t live right next to this place and that I couldn’t afford to eat their every day even if I did lol. I will absolutely be going back though. I was really impressed - and I’ve always been a huge sushi fan.

Great Place for Vegan and Gluten Free Sushi! - Edit
I've eaten here a number of times. Great food, great location, friendly knowledgeable staff. They recently expanded their Vegan gluten-free options, which thrilled my husband. He now understands what we were all raving about! If you love mushrooms, try the Shiitake To Me sushi. It's to die for! Go at lunch time or happy hour for great prices!

Delicious varied options - Edit
Had a full 3 course meal here, it was spectacular. Crispy miso sprouts were incredibly delicious, followed by miso soup (which one of my non-vegan dining partners preferred to the regular miso!), a tonne of yummy fresh sushi and then a rich creamy chocolate torte for dessert. Honestly one of the nicest meals I’ve had in years! And the service was friendly, casual and helpful!
