Not as good as what I'd read/heard

I had heard good things about the Cafe Blossom so thought I'd make a trip there when I went to New York. I admit I was a bit let down. Their fresh squeezed veggie juice just lacked something and had lots of chunks in it. When I ordered my tea it just came with a plain white cup with a tea bag in it. He didn't ask if I wanted any sweeteners, soy milk or anything. I'm used to a little tray - maybe something a bit more aesthetically pleasing and inviting..

The salad was ok but even it was just ok. Nothing special. I ordered the raw Linguini Zucchini i (which I get at a raw place here in Florida and loooove) I know CB isn't a raw restaurant so maybe I should have ordered something cooked but thought that the zuchinni was blah with no sauce at all (I suppose I did not read carefully and thought there'd be some kind of topping. Not just a big plate for of zucchini for 20 bucks. The cooked dish (sweet potato gnocha something or the other) tasted dry and not so great. We skipped dessert because we were a bit scared and booked it out of there. People were friendly but that's about all I can say nice about the place.

Pros: friendly staff, clean bathrooms

Cons: food wasn't that great, kinda cold and plain

I found the food to be well-prepared, very fresh and flavorful, and the service to be very friendly and helpful. This was my first time here, and I'll definitely go back my next time in town.

Pros: Tasty, Good service, Wide selection

Will go back.

I liked Blossom, too. A good variety on the menu which would make me go back to try more. Great to have fresh juices and the juice guy was willing to go with customer requests that were not on the menu. Portions seemed a little small, and if you're looking for some simple veggies you won't get it here.

Very relaxing brunch

UWS: Very spacious; non over crowded; lots of fresh air from wide open window doors, perfect!
Raw salad roll using vegetables than carbohydrates are my favorite type of dishes.

a fine establishment

A quality experience from start to finish. Would return and strongly recommend. Restaurant window states that they are kosher, but there is no visible supervisory letter.

Awesome food, great location

Cafe Blossom, like its sister restaurant in Chelsea, is a gem. The ambience is chic and modern, but the service is friendly, prompt, and exceedingly helpful. My pecan-crusted seitan had a complex array of tastes and textures, and my friend's chipotle aioli sandwich was spicy and fresh. Portion sizes are generous. I also greatly enjoyed my mimosa, which is an unusual drink option at a vegan joint. To make things even better, Cafe Blossom fills the great need for a quality vegan restaurant on the Upper West Side. Highly recommended.

Pros: Food quality, Service, Location
