One of my favorite higher-end vegan restaurants in NYC - Edit
Great vegan spot in NYC for a nicer meal. The staff is always friendly and the food is excellent. It’s the type of place you would bring a non-vegan to show them how good vegan food can be.

Everything on the menu is quite amazing. I've eaten here numerous times and can attest to that. I especially love the Southern Seitan.

WOW. The seitan cutlets picatta was sensational. Also got some gnocchi which was great, but the seitan was just so good that anything paled in comparison 😂

It’s pricey so more for a special night out — very worth it for me!
Pros: Seitan here is unreal
Cons: Is expensive — but not outrageously so

One of the Best - Edit
One of the first and best of Manhattan's vegan places, it still delights. Whether French toast for brunch or a seitan Français for dinner, you will be astonished and very please when you eat here. I took several picky eater non vegan friends and family and everyone was happy.

Always excellent - Edit
It’s been a while and it’s still as good. Lots of choices, all great. Food is always delicious. Just us there this time but we’ve taken non-vegans here too who’ve always been willing to come back. Extra points for organic.

Excellent vegan deliciousness - Edit
Had a fabulous dinner at Blossom. Great service and fabulous food. The lasagne was our favorite. Good size portion too. The jackfruit tacos were great as well, a bit spicy. The crabcakes are tiny! More like mini bites. But tasty with a great dip. We asked for some bread so we could eat all of that sauce 😂. Highly recommend! Reasonable prices considering the high quality!

First rate - Edit
Excellent lasagne with veggies and nut cheese, dessert. Side of Brussels Sprouts well cooked but with off seasonings. Food seemed a bit oil-rich and sumptuous.Fancy entree was $28.

One of the best vegan restaurants in NYC - Edit
It's not cheap, but you can tell that they use quality (organic) ingredients, and it is on the UWS after all. One of my favorites is the southern seitan sandwich. Service is always friendly (though sometimes slow when they are busy). The decor gives a very nice atmosphere. Full bar with good cocktails as well. The weekend brunch is great as well.

Very disappointing! - Edit
Great service but the food was disappointing and overpriced. My husband ordered the picatta, it was swimming in broth and was way too lemony. I had a tofu and vegetable stir fry, which had a small portion of farro mixed in. It didn’t really make sense. The waiter recommended it and it’s my fault for not looking at the description in the menu. I wanted the lasagna but it wasn’t available before 5 PM. My kids got the chicken tenders, which looked and tasted exactly like the Gardein ones we have at home all the time.

The food is delicious and decadent. Loved the Beyond Burger. The fries were OK. You can find comparable flavor and quality for cheaper than here, though.

This is the only blossom location I hadn’t been to yet, and they definitely provided the same level of quality food as they do downtown. Definitely get anything with their house made fried seitan!

For the price the seitan piccata and stuffed sweet potato were both pretty bland. The nachos were okay and a decently large portion.

Upscale Atmosphere, Delicious Food - Edit
The food at Blossom is absolutely delicious, and I love the higher end atmosphere for special occasions and eating out with friends. You can dress up or be more casual here without feeling out of place. We got the setian scallopini and setian Marsala special, both were absolutely delicious and came with large portions. We ended the night with some creative cocktails and desserts. Everything was great and the service is super attentive. Candle 79 was our go to for special occasions but now that they have sadly closed their doors we are more than happy to dine at Blossom instead.

Vegan Go-to Spot before your Museum adventure - Edit
A short walk down Columbus and you’ll run into this gem! The staff is very friendly and courteous, and the options are plentiful and delicious. My girlfriend and I had some great cocktails and sandwiches! I went with the Beyond Burger, she went with the Portobello on multi grain. We finished it off with espressos and desert. A must before you spend HOURS at the museum.
