It’s fine - Edit
We came with a couple friends who wanted to try this place. The reviews were mixed so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We tried the Arancini to start. They’re little fried rice balls you dip into bleu cheese dip. The bleu cheese was good, but I could have lived without these. We also tried the seitan piccata and the shroom pizza. The lemon caper sauce on the piccata had some good lemon flavor, but the seitan was completely bland. The texture of the seitan was good though, and the kale and potatoes helped carry some of the flavor of the sauce, but I would not order this again. The shroom pizza was pretty good—lots of flavor in the toppings. Overall though, we weren’t very impressed and aren’t likely to return. There are too many amazing options in the area that I don’t think this place is worth the trip or the price.
Read moreEdit: I forgot to mention the dessert. My partner tried the tiramisu and said it was great. So if you’re looking for a good vegan dessert this place might be worth it for you.

Variable service - Edit
The food was really good! Service was hit-or-miss. The host seemed genuinely annoyed that we didn't have a reservation (despite the fact that only two tables in the entire restaurant had people at them), and it took awhile to get service at our table. Then, a cocktail I had ordered was missing a key ingredient and they didn't tell me until after I had already tasted the drink - I had to ask for it to be remade because I didn't think it was even the cocktail I had ordered.
Read moreThey then sent someone out to a store to buy the missing ingredient so they could make the cocktail correctly. So some service wasn't great, but the bartender definitely went above and beyond.
Pros: Good food, Bartender was nice
Cons: Iffy service, A bit pricey

Excellent - Edit
A vegan nirvana. I’ve been there numerous times, from appetizers to mains, desserts to drinks, whatever I ordered, everything was amazing. Service is kind and attentive, food comes out fast, but nothing is rushed. If you hesitate, don’t, just go and enjoy.

An UWS favorite… - Edit
This is another UWS favorite that I always come to visit whenever I’m in town. The food is always good along with the service. Today I visited with my cousin’s fur baby and they generously accommodated her in the outdoor patio seating area where they provided water and treats. I tried their Huevos Rancheros while my dining companions enjoyed the Southern Seitan and the Lasagna. All dishes were big hits. Definitely drop by if you’re in the neighborhood.

Some of the best food I've ever had - Edit
Every cocktail can be made into a mocktail with NA spirits that actually have flavor. Food was amazing, great starters, salad, and main and desert. My partner didn't love the lasagna, but he swapped to the risotto and loved that

Great ambiance, good food, nice servers - Edit
Walked here after going to the American Museum of Natural History. Ordered the nachos as an appetizer, kid 1 had the beyond burger, kid 2 had the un-chicken tenders (which came with an insane amount of fries) and I had the nightly special of roasted vegetable tower. The tiramisu was gobbled up too quickly to get a photo. Good food!

Excellent food in pleasant surroundings - Edit
There used to be two Blossom restaurants in Manhattan but, according to our waiter, this is now the only one. We ate there fairly early on a Saturday evening, 6:30pm, and the place was pretty full on arrival. By the time we had finished, it was only half-full: I hope this is not an indication that, next time, there may not even be one Blossom...
Read moreThere was a very pleasant atmosphere with a bar and gentle background music. We were made very welcome by the staff and the food was as good as we expected. I had celery soup, which was perfectly seasoned and very tasty, if a little thick for my liking. My partner had artichokes, which were delicious. I moved on to the day's special of seitan and my partner had pistachio-encrusted tofu, both dishes really excellent. The choice of desserts was relatively limited. As ever, I went for the chocolate option, which I enjoyed greatly, as did my partner with her tiramisu, although the signature flavours of coffee and sweet wine did not really come through - a good dessert but not quite a tiramisu.
It may seem an odd comment to say this but we both felt the portions were too large. This may be the American way but, given that we hate to waste food, we would have preferred slightly less on the plate. The service was commendably rapid, possibly too rapid as once the last mouthful had been devoured, the plate was whipped away whether or not the other person at the table had finished. There is nothing really wrong with that but it did add a slight feeling of being rushed.
Highly recommended.
Pros: Delicious food well presented, welcoming staff, Pleasant atmosphere
Cons: Portions on the large side, Over-brisk collection of plates

Innovative and good tasting choices. Freshly made. It‘s kind of expensive but talking about NY and Manhattan prices are kind of average if you wanna eat like this. I guess everybody would find a favorite here due to the variety of the menu.

LOVED THE FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE - Edit
Ok so I came back and the food we had absolutely changed my mind. I want to come back again next week because of how much we loved everything this time and also the service was just excellent - from the host to bartender to waiter to busboy.
Read moreWe tried their brunch menu - Huevos Rancheros, Egg Florentine, Pancakes and also Tiramisu. So so so good - all of it!! Still a bit expensive, even though portions are a decent size, but we paid $140 total for the four meals, two sides, kombucha and beer.
MAY 2022: A very nice vibe and great service. I tried their Caesar salad and apple strudel and both tasted good but not great - would not come back here for food. Total was (2 items plus ginger tea) about $40.

Loved - Edit
We are in the middle of our NYC trip, and this was my fave place, so far. I’m glad it was as good as my memories from years ago. The restaurant itself is lovely and makes for a fancier night out (or casual if you prefer). I loved the crispy artichoke appetizer. The crusted tofu/crepe dish was pretty, and I enjoyed it. My son really liked the nachos. Everything was delicious.

Not exciting but good ambiance - Edit
After the museum we were ready to eat with my family. We had a total of five dishes, and the only one I kind of enjoyed were the nachos. My sister enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich & soup. My daughter had the roasted cauliflower which she didn't finish. My mom didn't enjoy the vegetable stir-fry and neither did I. I don't mind spending money if it's good but I regret the money spent here considering the amount of food we tried and I left hungry.

Meh. - Edit
We were so excited to try this restaurant during our trip to the city. Unfortunately ~ we actually found it so unappetizing, that we paid ~ left ~ and went to the grocery store across the street for dinner before the Seinfeld show 😟. Maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen, but neither my hubby or I liked either of our meals. Total disappointment. On the positive side, it was a very cozy space with very lovely staff.
