Parking: lot across the street is pay to park, but generally empty.
Service: kind, elated, and informed staff/service.
Dining in is very minimal, has an interesting vibe that I am neutral to.
Food to table: moderately fast
Taste: smoothie- can’t say anything out of ordinary, just great tasting smoothie, worth trying.
Ironman sandwich: enjoyed every single bite. Can’t say the chicken was “chicken-y” but the flavors were very good and stands leagues above its competition (other vegan restaurants)
Definitely filling 🙏
Price: reasonable, worth it.
Hours: close early, if it’s cool
I will be back again.

We stopped on a whim and our expectations were met and exceeded! Our cashier was helpful and friendly. The food was amazing and the quaint atmosphere is perfect!

I’m stoked I made my way over to Blondie’s, an actual vegan eatery on the island that takes pride in their filling creations. My breakfast sandwich was a champ, but the best man won and I finished it completely full and with an after taste that made me miss the adventure.

It is an honour to leave the first review. This place is fantastic! Had a tough time deciding between the iron man and the bbq sandwich.

The chicken & sauces were flavourful and surprisingly light. Sometimes meat alternatives can taste way too salty and artificial. Blondie’s felt clean and natural.
Portions are ample and the food is filling. Despite smashing this burger, getting tasty sauce everywhere in the process, I felt good.
Plantation tea was also crisp, refreshing, and not too sweet.
Prices reasonable for portion.
Best part: so welcoming and friendly.

People really hyped up this sandwich but it was ok, it’s a good alternative for when you’re craving “meaty” food but it was a lot of fake meat and fake egg with nothing fresh to cut the meatiness. Was just a lot of one flavour and very heavy. Regardless, we didn’t try any of the other items and I’m sure they’re great. We just left not feeling wow’ed. The truck is also situated in a hot carpark which is great for a snack when coming out of Lowes, but for tourists traveling around we had to drive to somewhere nicer and shadier to enjoy the meal. This isn’t an issue but wanted to share in case anyone is looking for lunch with a good atmosphere, as this wasn’t it unfortunately💔

Even though it’s in the Lowe’s parking lot it’s a fantastic plant based meal, well worth it. They make all their cheese and “chicken” no soy. Super tasty and seasoned beautifully. Had the BBQ Chicken Power bowl, the BBQ sandwich and the tacos. All were incredibly great. The mother and daughter owners are friendly. We would go back again for sure.

amazing & high protein vegan breakfast/lunch. wonderful service ☺️ between 4 people got the breakfast sandwich, potato scramble, iron(woman) sandwich, hibiscus tea, and mochas. the flavors, spices and everything are on poiiint; probably the best vegan sausage i’ve ever had. want the recipe❤️

Read moreI've been wanting to try this food truck for some time and am so happy that I did! We were greeted with beautiful smiles and positive vibes on a gorgeous day. Confirmed that all menu items are vegan (even though some items are listed as "egg"). I had the Breakfast Sandwich ($9.00) that came with a side of potato scramble. It was so 'ono! I had my daughter try it as she was hesitant to sample anything with avo spread, but she loved it and is looking forward to having it next visit. I also sampled the Early Bird Breakfast bowl ($11.00) and it was amazing - flavorful and just the right amount. Topped it off with the freshly brewed Blondie's Sweet Sun Tea ($4.00) - perfect!
We went back to order another Breakfast Sandwich and the Blondie's BBQ Sandwich for my husband and son.
I appreciate that they are at this location as there are not many vegan options along Nimitz. I love that they are at a home improvement store too - hopefully, they will continue to attract new clientele that normally are not exposed to plant-based food. No outdoor seating.
Looking forward to eating here again soon! Please support them.

Because if you go out on Monday night you aren’t going out to have a glass of house white, you’re going out to get shwasted- Shot! Shot! Shot! Shot! No worries you can stop at Blondie’s- in the parking lot of Lowe’s (Nimitz Hwy), a plant based food truck! They have a selection of plant based/vegan breakfast options and coffees. The breakfast sandwich will satisfy your craving for a delicious savory, slightly sweet and spicy comfort food to soak up all that booze or fill your empty stomach. You also have your choice of espresso coffee/latte drinks or a delicious cold brew to fight that pounding headache and ease the shakes.
The first time I had the iced coffee it was too sweet for my taste buds, so now I ask or have the wifey pick up an unsweetened cold brew to go with my Blondie’s breakfast sandwich.
The ladies that run the show are super friendly and make some delicious eats. So if you’re needing some plant based hangover foods, stuck in morning traffic on Nimitz, or just delicious breakfast food check out Blondie’s.
