Awesome build your own pizza!

This was so fun to build your own pizza down an assembly line. Thankfully I’d looked on line before and knew we got 7 toppings here with the large build your own for $19.99 which easily feeds two. All the crust is vegan I believe and they have vegan cheese and spicy soyrizo. The topping choices were awesome with roasted garlic, broccoli, red pepper, artichoke, red onion, black olives, spinach, and choices for add ons after like oils, oregano, and arugula. We were all happy with our pizzas even though we had to queue for about 8 minutes. We’d all go back again for a fun experience. Oh and they also do gluten free crusts too. #Veganuary

My very favorite gluten-free vegan pizza crust

I am vegan by choice, but gluten-free out of necessity.

I've had GF pizza crusts elsewhere and found the consistency too mushy, and with very little flavor. But that's not the case at Blaze; their GF crust is so good that it's hard to tell it's not the 'real thing!' It's tasty and crispy.

Before realizing grains (including wheat) was the source of my leg swelling/inflammation/pain, I frequented Blaze with my non-vegan boyfriend. We would order the wheat crust in the large size (which, oddly enough, I believe can only be ordered through the app, in advance of arrival.)

After giving up wheat/grains, I stopped going because I had convinced myself the GF crust was going to be bad, as compared to the tasty wheat crust I had been eating and loved. However, a couple of years later, I finally decided to give it a try and was VERY pleasantly surprised at how good it is!

Unfortunately, however, at least to date, you can only get the 'personal-sized' GF crust. I hope one day they will begin offering it in the large size because it would surely be a better value than buying two of the small ones.

I also love that there is no mark-up in price for dairy-free cheese, and that there are a lot of vegetable options.

Note that if you're a wimp when it comes to spicy food, you might want to avoid the 'spicy' red sauce bc I tried it once and it was so HOT, it ruined my pizza and I regretted not asking for a taste before ordering it in place of my usual 'mild' red sauce.

Lastly, I love that the workers are willing to change their gloves upon request... though I have my doubts about it being done when I place my order through the app for take-out/pick-up because I'm not present to watch them do so.

Pros: Delicious vegan GF crust, No mark-up on vegan cheese, Good variety of vegetable topping options

Cons: No LARGE gluten-free crust options, No vegan desserts, No vegan (nor gluten-free) garlic knot options.

I love the build your own pizza and/or salad

Many vegan options. Taste great. Please add a vegan pizza base that does not have tomatoes. A vegan white sauce or red pepper sauce would be my suggestion. Thank you for providing more veggie options than any other pizza place I have been to. I hope you consider opening another location farther south in Sarasota.

Pros: Many vegan options, Nice staff, Nice large outdoor patio

Cons: No vegan white sauce or non tomato sauce, No vegan desserts and their desserts look so tasty

gf and vegan pizza!

Ordered a gf crust with vegan cheese and vegan chorizo. Was very good! The workers wear gloves and touch all the toppings so I did ask the employee to change gloves before touching the vegan cheese and she did no problem. Overall good experience and a nice option to have.

Pros: Good options for vegans and gluten free

Cons: Topping bar gets messy cross contamination

Awesome vegan pizza.

I have been here countless times & love their pizza. Many vegan options. Clean. Nice staff. I wish they would add more vegan pizza sauce options. Myself and many people can't eat red sauce. My hope is they add a vegan red pepper and/ or white sauce. I wish they had fresh red peppers verses marinated. I would also be nice to see a vegan dessert option. Hopefully they will add another Blaze location in Sarasota soon. This one is on the Bradenton / Sarasota boarder and Sarasota could really use another Blaze location farther south and west.

Great Go-To Pizza Place

One of the greatest Pizza places I've ever been to! High quality Pizza, Great Pricing, and
the great Build-Your-Own Pizzas make this place special. Service is alright but they are very good at minimizing the waiting times to a few minutes at most. Highly recommend coming here!

Pros: Great Tasting Food, Relatively Cheap pricing, Lots of customization with the Build-YourOwn Pizza

Cons: Long lines can sometimes get quite messy

so delicious

The food is amazing! The price is unbeatable. $8.99 for unlimited toppings on a pizza. They have vegan cheese and will even do a glove change for you so the person normally adding dairy doesn’t have remnants on their glove (their suggestion, and was much appreciated). The only downside is trying to get a table. It was so crowded the line was out the door, and no tables were available. Tons of people standing around everywhere made it too chaotic a place to try to eat at. So we took ours to go.

Pros: delicious food , great price

Cons: way too chaotic , uncomfortable seating

Blaze Pizza

The best pizza I've had in Sarasota. SO delicious, and economical too. You go down the line, choosing your crust, whatever cheeses (they've got DAIYA vegan cheese), and whatever toppings. There are loads and loads of vegan toppings, and if you do "build your own pizza," you can have as many as you'd like for the same price! Which is amazing! They (as of now, anyway, and hopefully always) don't put mainstream sugar in their vegan toppings or sauces, so we don't even need to worry about bone-char sugar. They also have some salads, at least one of which is vegan -- though the cranberries in it probably have sugar in them. Let's encourage them to have even more vegan salads and desserts. But the main thing -- the pizza -- is spectacular. From what I've found, the best priced and tasting pizza in Sarasota. The place is also clean, the staff nice, and you can sit indoors our out.

Pros: It's vegan, and tastes great!, Economical., Same low price for three or twenty toppings.

Cons: Also serves un-vegan food. (But maybe it's a way , to get animal-eaters to try vegan -- go with a , vegan and taste).
