Scrumptious healthy vegan options in bowls - Edit
You choose how big and what you want in your bowl here, 3, 4, or 6 options. They have bases, veggies, and proteins. The only option for vegans in the protein section is their chilled tofu caprese and it wasn’t even listed on the menu. I’d seen it online though thankfully. The manager was amazing and came to help us several times. He even brought the tofu caprese for us to try and it’s awesome with edamame as well. It’s made to taste like a mozzarella, basil and tomato salad. They also have a golden spice chickpea which is nice with Indian flavors that I eat all the time in the UK so this was the least interesting to me. The lemon garlic broccoli was to die for as was the cauliflower potato mash. The two sauces we tried, coconut sriracha and holy kale, were super awesome too but everything already had so much flavor. I worried too that the sauces wouldn’t go with the things we chose so I took the sauces home to use with something else. My partner absolutely loved it and wants to go back asap. He said he’d eat here daily if he could. It’s cheap too for the area. I think it was $8.95 for the three bowl and $9.95 for the 4 bowl. You get in line to order or can skip the queue to order online. A must try really. #Veganuary

Great! - Edit
I love that every option they have is clearly marked if it is vegan including the dressings. They had more vegan options than what was listed on the large menu sign in the store. It was very good! I will definitely return. I hope they open a Sarasota location more south. All the employees I saw were friendly and helpful.

Delicious! - Edit
Update April 2024: Have been here a couple more times and LOVED it. Wish it wasn’t so far away but we still took our plant based friends there and they loved it too.
Read moreOriginal review: Recognizable whole food cooked to perfection. Every bite was scrumptious! I’m sure there were oils and more salt than I’m used to but for a place to grab a quick bite when out/traveling it was awesome. Staff was friendly and helpful guiding us through our first visit.

Healthy food - Edit
They had build your own bowls with plenty of vegan options. Vegan proteins include tofu and chickpeas. I would give it 5 stars, but happy cow won’t let me since it’s not 100% vegan.

Always Delicious - Edit
The tofu caprese is the only vegan protein option but it’s so delicious and there are many other ways to customize the bowls (several different grain, veggie, and sauce options that are vegan). LOVE the sweet potato noodles and coconut sriracha sauce! So delicious and I come anytime I’m in the area for a quick and healthy lunch or dinner

Good, fresh food - Edit
I love Fresh Kitchen, but at the price it's a treat. Last I checked, the tofu and other items had been made vegan. Double check! They do use honey in some things, so I always ask.
Read moreYou can mix and match and create your own bowls. My favorite is the cauli potato mash, though sometimes it's a bit lumpy.
Overall very good. I'd eat there a whole lot if it were less expensive.
Pros: Fresh foods, Tofu and other vegan options, Love the dressings
Cons: Expensive

Good but disappointed. - Edit
What’s the point of having tofu if it isn’t vegan? No vegan protein options unfortunately. Not an issue at the one I usually go to. I wouldn’t have gone if I knew their tofu wasn’t vegan.
