Serves cows’ milk - Edit
It was disappointing to learn that this place isn’t fully vegan and offers cows’ milk as standard in drinks.
Read moreI had the porridge and maybe I made a bad choice but it was really lacking in flavour and toppings were skimpy for the price.
The cinnamon bun and banana cake were really delicious however, so saved the day.

I haven't been here for a while as no longer visit the area. However when ever I did pop in for breakfast or brunch the service was always top notch and the food was fab, and based on that I can highly recommend this cafe for a decent vegan breakfast.
Read moreBack then the cafe was listed as vegetarian as they served cows milk so that's why I'm giving it 4 stars, it is now listed as vegan, but I think they still serve cows milk for coffee?? Is that right? Would love to know as this cafe deserves 5 stars if fully vegan!
Really liked the bottles of New Zealand hot sauce which were available to purchase.

However they do serve dairy milk as standard, which I didn't realise when ordering because it's labelled as Vegan here on Happy Cow / and plantbased on Instagram. It was possibly my mistake? But I did believe they were fully vegan.
However the food is incredible and all vegan, so I will definitely come back again ☺️ there's upstairs, downstairs and outside seating!

I like Blank, the staff are nice enough and it’s just a chill little cafe. Losing a star for the very uncomfortable seating. They have very hard chairs and awkward boxes to perch on. Also losing a star for the cows milk, which is unforgivable tbh for a “vegan” place.
Read moreAlso some staff aren’t vegan and I think that’s a shame. It never fills me with confidence when I ask for a recommendation and the waitress says “oh, I’m not vegan” as though she couldn’t bear to eat the food.
They’ve also started playing teen rock music recently (panic at the disco etc!) and it’s just changed the whole vibe.

I discovered this place the day after I moved to the area and it remained my favourite.

Not only they make amazing food, it is a family run business who cares deeply about community 🙏🏼
I highly recommend trying their pancakes and Swedish cinnamon bun 🤤

Lots of good food options but i had to wait in the queue for about 10 mins, stood behind the door because the queue didnt move at all. They offered takeaway to skip it so I eventually went up and the staff like avoided eye contact for another good 5 mins so I just left. Its a shame because its pretty inside with good food hence the 3 stars still, but i just left feeling pretty frustrated. Maybe I’ll try to come back some other time and try again

I've been told that their food is all plant-based, but their default coffee milk is cow's milk and they charge extra for plant milks. The food is good but their borderline "secret" default cow milk in coffees (not mentioned on the menu unless you ask) makes me a little nervous about going there.

This place is modelled after new Zealand style hangout coffee places, so there's dogs running around and they were playing Friends on a projector and it was all chilled out. The food was delicious and really reasonably priced for brunch in London. The only slightly off thing was that the vegan omelette tastes nothing like an omelette, but it is delicious anyway! Will be coming back.

The breakfast here was incredible with so many good flavours! Best vegan breakfast I've ever had. It came super quick too and the vibe inside was really nice. Even had seating outside which was nice on the sunny morning we went.

Ordered the All Worked Up for breakfast which was sensational. Cozy seating area downstairs showing movies on a projector. Very friendly service and we were even given complimentary cinnamon buns fresh from the oven! Highly recommend.

Read moreThe staff are super-friendly, the coffee is great (with pretty much every vegan milk available) and food is AMAZING!
Both sweet and savoury offerings are absolutely delicious with generous portion sizes. It's very hard to narrow down my favourites but the "Almighty" sausage sandwich and the cinnamon rolls take some beating. They also do a mean dirty chai latte, which excites me as vegan chai powder is so hard to find!
Highly recommend!

I booked Blank for my boyfriend’s birthday party. It was wonderful - nothing was too much trouble for the lovely owners, the food was delicious - including special gluten free options. We screened a film, played our favourite music and had a fantastic evening. The atmosphere was great - in no small part due to the incredible Sam and Warner who run Blank and understand how to make everyone happy and welcome. Could not recommend Blank more highly.

I really love this place. Went there 4 days in a row as I had a yoga workshop around the corner. Always enjoyed the food and the super friendly team. Don’t miss this place when in Brixton. Try the pancakes, the sweet potato fritters or the sausage roll. You will love them too. Very reasonable prices. Good atmosphere.
