A great option for vegans around Japan

There was a lot of choice, and a lot of things you couldn't find elsewhere in other shops.

Pros: Lots of vegan and gluten free , Fresh fruit and veg , Lots of locations

Cons: Expensive for some things

One of the best BCB shops in Tokyo.

This is a big shop and has a bigger selection of vegan products, bentos and grab to go.
I really like this shop, and they seem to so my fav products at sale prices all the time.

Pricey but lots of good stuff

They have a clearly marked vegan section with lots of plant-based milks, organic produce, and a bulk section for dried fruits, nuts, popcorn and such.

Definitely worth a visit (bring ¥¥¥)

I always pop into Bio C’Bon whenever I pass one. They have lots of fun and tasty vegan things to buy. It’s all pretty pricey, though.

Great Market

I guess I have been living out in the Japanese countryside too long because I was shocked to walk into this organic supermarket. Sooo many veg-friendly choices, including a fill-your-own-bag station featuring nuts, wild rice, dried fruit, and lentils. I noticed many gluten-free items too. I will defiantly go back to do more shopping!!

Organic supermarket which great product, but few vegan items

I used to shop there in France before moving to Japan. Everything is organic, and there are plenty of products to buy and cook: fruit and vegetables of course, but also all sorts of seeds and legumes. However, I could not find "seitan" or vegan cheese. But their organic, vegan and sugar-free pumpkin "an-pan" was just great!

Pros: All organic, Large variety of products

Cons: Few specific vegan items (no vegan cheese, seitan)
