delicious small offer - Edit
There is a small selection of vegan dishes, which are all marked V . The dish "Eggplant Ohrid Style" was very tasty and the size of the dish in combination with the free bread basket was more like a main course instead of a starter. The risotto was unfortunately not very tasty, as something was missing in taste and not rounded. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was nice.

Nothing special but clearly labeled vegan options - Edit
Ended up here because choices 1 and 2 were either ‘temporarily closed’ or not open until much later. It has an old fashioned Balkan charm and is easily accessible if you’re in the Old Town. I tried the ‘Ohrid style Eggplant’ and ‘Macedonian Salad’ and it came with white bread on the side. It was better than getting Violife and toast at the supermarket but not something I’d voluntarily do again. I’m just happy they had any options here so that’s a plus for sure.

Wonderful, classic Balkan food with many well-marked vegan options - Edit
My wife and I decided to split the majority of the labeled V (vegan) items on the menu. This was a great idea when we arrived hungry, but proved to be a major challenge as the large portions of amazing food arrived. Nevertheless, we persevered. Highlights included the eggplant appetizer, mushrooms and the garlic spread with the homemade bread. But everything was quite good. Friendly, English speaking staff. Great outdoor/indoor location in the heart of the city. Dog friendly.

Not recommend as Italian - Edit
The risotto was not a risotto and the aubergine was cold. Still somewhat tasty I would say😄

Decent food, terrible service - Edit
The menu is well labeled with several vegan and vegetarian options, but the service is quite slow and unresponsive (having to ask repeatedly to get a menu, pay, etc).

Unfriendly staff - Edit
All three of the waiters we came in contact with were unfriendly. There were multiple vegetarian starter options but the main course option was only one kind of pasta. We had french fries and grilled zucchini which were both drenched in oil. The pasta was okay but simple and nothing special, just penne with sauce. The salad we had was fine. It was really cheap (€20 total) but would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Incredible staff - Edit
The highlight of my meal was the waiter that served my husband and me. He was a complete gem who was very attentive, friendly, and well-versed in veganism. There were a few things, mostly sides, and appetizers, that we tried. Everything was delicious. We had soup, grilled veggies, and a pasta dish. Everything was really good.

Great atmosphere and great food - Edit
The vegan food is clearly labelled with a V with a plus sign (V only for Veggie). The mains are limited and the soups go quickly but the appetisers and sides are great. The highlights were the eggplant ohrid style appetiser and the zucchini side dish which both tasted fantastic. The macaroni ariabata is penne, it’s just a minor error in translation. This was nice but nothing special. The Macedonian salad was good too, standard for the area. The atmosphere was lovely, there was a live band and the waiters are friendly. The place can get a bit smoky.

Good labels - Edit
Everything is well labelled and there are quite a few options but could have used something less veggie heavy - more beans etc. The dumpling soup wasn’t available in the evening which was a bit strange, but overall enjoyed the meal.

Cons: Not many protein rich dishes
