Big portion of pasta

If it's summer, sit outside and watch the boats. Food took a little while at busy lunchtime but the view made up for it. Waitress asked immediately if we had any food allergies giving me the opportunity to state I was vegan and get handed a vegan menu. The bowl of pasta was huge and came with a sticker on the plate clearly indicating it was vegan. It was quite tasty. Had a coffee and mini vegan panna cotta for afters which was so delicious I wish I'd got the big version!

Pros: Separate vegan menu. Very friendly staff.

Nice bean burger

I really enjoyed the bean burger but was disappointed that the chips were not vegan

Cons: The chips are vegetarian not vegan :(

Vegans and Lactose Intolerant beware!

My boyfriend and I ate at Bella Italia this week and it was a disaster. We sat sat down and asked for the vegan menu. Then our waitress came and we ordered from the vegan menu. Making sure to ask that it was dairy free! When our food arrived, there was chicken on my pasta! I sent it back immediately and then my boyfriend started eating the vegan pizza he ordered. I then tasted it and stopped, we both said, “this is real cheese!” We asked the manager and she apologised and said that both meals were not vegan! Once our vegan meals finally arrived, we were asked if we wanted parmesan cheese on the pasta. And then if we wanted a pudding for dessert. We had already stated that we were vegan and could not have dairy! Unbelievable! Do not eat here if you do not want to be sick. They have no understanding of what no dairy or Vegan means.

Cons: Terrible service, No understanding of Vegan, No understanding of lactose I tolerate
