Everything on the menu is vegan! Not all alcohol but they tell you if it's not vegan. Amazing staff and delishious food! cheese sticks are to die for and the cheesy fries were exactly that: CHEESY💖

Best vegan junk food fix - Edit
We had the kebab, loaded fries and chicken poppers. Food is perfect for that junk food fix. Chicken poppers are scarily good.Great quirky atmosphere and good drinking venue. Relaxed atmosphere and cheap!

came for the bab, stayed for the cheese on a stick! - Edit
Tried several dishes and the kebab ended up being the least favourite part of the meal. Tasty quirky sides and all reasonably priced

Nice and quirky - Edit
For those looking for a healthy vegan meal you may be better served looking elsewhere in Brighton. For those looking for a low priced fill this is no the place for you. For the rest of us it's great
Read moreMenu is s mix of Vegan hot dogs topped with, or not, melted cheeze or sauerkraut or chilli non carne or pitta with seitan or chips loaded with all of the above. It is meat substitution territory and a lovely open pub space to sit and wash it down with (my choice was water but maybe yours isn't)
There's vegan brownie and ice cream too so all in and all a quirky place for a nice snack.
Pros: nice vibe
Cons: reliance on fake meat

Good food - Edit
I had read reviews on Happy Cow, so decided to make Beelzebab, at the Hope and Ruin pub, our first stop after a five our trip to Brighton. I normally avoid vegan food that consists of meat substitutes, as I don't miss not eating burgers etc., but the reviews were great and I was hungry! Easy to find, we were served quickly and the food didn't disappoint. We enjoyed our meal, although would prefer to put our own sauces on, rather than have them ready served with sauce. Being a bar, there were plenty of drink choices and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.

Cons: Separate sauce, please

Amazing brownie and ice cream - Edit
We might have reviewed this before for its fun and delicious 'meat and chips' type food but we wanted to give special mention to the puddings! The hot brownies (made by honeycomb cakes, perhaps?) and ice cream (by the amazing boho gelato) are worth a special trip, one of the best desserts ever. Today it was oreo brownie and either peanut butter and salted caramel, or apple crumble and custard, ice cream. Amazingly delicious!

I just ate there last night. It was so delicious! I had the kabob, which was so tasty, and I also got brownies with ice cream that were amazing. The service was friendly, quick, and accommodating, too. I highly recommend it!

Hot Dawg! - Edit
Super friendly pub with an all vegan menu. Loved the Chilly Cheese Fries and the hot dogs are great, loaded with toppings and served with a smile. The Kebabs are really fine too, made with housemade seitan.

All-vegan pub grub - Edit
Amazing to be able to get a vegan doner kebab and a pint at the same time from lovely friendly people.
Read moreReally good seitan texture and fillings like cabbage salad and pickled chillis. Also hot dogs and loaded fries.
A bit messy to eat, not sure my top will recover from the Beelzebab chill-sauce spillage!
We'd love an extra spicy version with that home-made style chilli sauce you get in the bestest kebab shops.

Rad! - Edit
It's so rd to be able to get a vegan diner kebab in the city, I only wish they were open every day! Love the new spot outside Fitzherbert's for an evening kebab fix. I've heard great things about the new hot dogs and I can't wait to try one when I'm back in the city.

My first kebab experience! - Edit
I've never had a kebab, since I went vegetarian when I was 11. After nights out at uni I watched my friends eat them and thought they looked vile.
Read moreI've never come across a vegan doner, so when I passed this stand by chance I thought I'd give it a go since I've never had the kebab experience! I am so glad I did, it was delicious. Not the best looking of cuisines, but it tasted really good, and obviously being made with seitan and healthy vegan ingredients, it's much more nutritious than your standard late-Saturday-night fare.
Highly recommended comfort fast food.
Pros: No other place like it, Delicious, Good value for money
