It's ok

I went in had the vegan noodles with tofu and curry coconut sauce. It's a tiny place with limited stools to sit on. They cost £8.50 ot £10.50 for a large. It was ok, they messed up the order so it was lucky I ate there as they gave me egg noodles and I could change. I also asked for a topping of peanuts and realised when I was half through I didn't get it on any of the orders. They used puffed tofu balls and were a bit tight on the amount given. If you're in a rush, on your own and fancy noodles it's not a bad place for speed and price I guess, but if you've more time there's so many great places in Brighton to choose from.

Pros: Price is ok, Quick service, Several vegan options

Cons: Ordered vegan box and was given egg noodles error, Forgot the topping, Not enough tofu in the dish

NOT a vegan restaurant

This is a non-vegan restaurant called MyWok which uses the separate vegan branding 'VeganOut' for its delivery operation to give the false impression of being a vegan business. Meat is prepared on the premises by the same chefs. Avoid.

Cons: Not a vegan restaurant , Meat prepared on premises, Misleading

Tasty vegan takeaway with lots of options

We went for the set meal which included the classic pad thai, which was made with puffed tofu, and sweet & sour chick'n. It also included vegan shrimp and a portion of edamame. Service was really quick and the food was tasty; the pad thai was my favourite. Good portion sizes and very reasonably priced - it was 15% off when we ordered, and the set meals are the best value.

Served meat on a vegan order

I ordered through MyWok’s vegan brand, VeganOut, for a Deliveroo collection order. My order was supposed to be vegan but 1 meal contained beef and prawns. The other meal tasted nice but I really can’t recommend it when I’ve been served meat and seafood.

nice food, good value, lots of vegan

I disagree with the reviews before me since this place still actively sells a lot of meat/fish and profits off that. I do agree they have made a good effort with the separate wok and have a lot of vegan options. It's good value for money. I always upgrade to large for £2 as I am a big eater however every time I regret it! Regular is the perfect amount. I'd maybe get the large to share or save half for the next day. I highly recommend the vegan chicken teriyaki. I wasn't a fan of the vegan pad thai. Should be plastic-free if you get noodles and no sauce packets or cutlery. Also don't order off deliveroo if you can help it, as prices are heavily increased on there (which is understandable considering deliveroos cut!)

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Can be plastic-free takeaway, Good value

Cons: Still lots of meat/fish, Heavy mark-up on deliveroo, Plastic cutlery etc unnecessary

Would give 5/5

Absolutely excellent food. Lots of vegan choices and a seperate wok used which doesn’t have any animal products in. Silly you can’t give 5/5 as they have made a real effort and it’s a shame not to be able to rate as highly!!

Pros: Choice - so much, Affordable, Vegan wok - no contamination

Cons: Limited seating (take out place)

5 stars!

Their vegan options are really yummy. Rubbish that happycow won't allow 5 star ratings for not fully vegan/Vege businesses!
