Fijn om wat vegan opties te hebben op het eiland. Niet de hele staff snapt wat vegan is, maar de beter Engels sprekende staff wel! Ik had de vegetables with Rice in een peanut saus, dit was vegan. Als ontbijt had ik havermout met banaan, zonder honing. De havermout wordt alleen met water bereidt. Ook heb ik de spring rolls en veggie wrap met frietjes gehad, wel vragen om de wrap zonder saus te serveren om het vegan te maken.

I ate here a couple of times because my hostel was here. I’m not sure if they really know what vegan is. I tried the wrap here, which was not special or tasty, dry and just a few fries with no sauce.
Read moreThe other day I tried fried rice, springrolls (not 100% sure if they are vegan) and curry. The curry was really tasty!
Another time I came there, waited for them to open again and just didn’t open because of no staff I heard later. They have some weird opening times.
They also sometimes ran out of tofu and avocado which was sad. Overall they tried and made a special vegan pancake for me in the morning.

The restaurant was closed for 3 days because of a inspection so we had to go to other restaurants on this island. Unfortunately it's not easy to find good vegan food here so I was very happy as I saw that this restaurant have a whole page with vegetarian food (the first restaurant on this island which has this).

The kiosk next to the restaurant also has a vegetarian burger with tempeh.
I asked for a vegan breakfast and got oatmeal with water instead of milk, I asked for oatmilk or coconut milk but they said they only have instant milk. The oatmeal was okay.

Had vegan rojak which is the first time I've seen this anywhere in Malaysia! It was tasty and nutritious, but the sauce was a little bit watery.

Tasty vegan options! - Edit
The food is very cheap and delicious! Unfortunately, there are just a few restaurants with vegan options on the island. However, there is a relatively large amount of vegan food here. The staff is also open for special requests. Unfortunately you wait a little longer for the food, but everything is freshly prepared. It doesn't matter whether it's dinner or breakfast: You will always have a great view on the beach!
