Best Vegan Options in Paekakariki! - Edit
Beach Road Deli offer an extensive range of super high quality vegan options. As a small business they go above and beyond to ensure their menu is inclusive and caters to all. With almost all vegan options being gluten free or available as, the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about their food. Beach Road Deli is my go to on the Kapiti Coast.
Read moreThey offer an incredible range of great vegan brunch options including; potato & herb rosti bagel (with mushrooms, kasundi, vegan aioli), a diverse rotation of fresh salads (Kale with toasted coconut and pumpkin with a jalapeno red onion dressing, to name just one), house made tofu focaccias (soo good and only $12), many sweet treats like vegan chocolate cake, cookies and Half-Baked Cookie Sammies, smoothies by request, granola and coconut yoghurt and also birdseed bars. Best of all, most of this is gluten free or can be made so.
From Fridays and across the weekend brings beautiful vegan pizza options featuring a Toscana (garlic, nutritional yeast, vegan aioli, spinach, pumpkin, almond, herb oil, chilli) and also a Melanzana pizza (tomato & garlic, marinated eggplant, olives, nutritional yeast, vegan aioli, thyme) both of which can be made gluten free. Note: Friday night is their late night pizza as they stay open till 8pm!
Beach Road Deli continue to impress, the quality and range of food is fantastic and I highly recommend people check it out! If I could give 5 stars to a non-vegan restaurant, they would have it in the bag!
