Good Indian food - Edit
We were looking for a place that would serve vegan food other than burgers. Basmati Indian place had positive reviews on Happy Cow so we decided to try it out.
Read moreThe staff person was super friendly and knew which dishes can be made vegan. We ended up ordering potato and cauliflower curry, tarka dal and chana masala. All of them tasted very good. The waiter also brought our kid some papadoms free of charge which was a kind gesture.
Overall, great experience. #Veganuary

This place was amazing in terms of vegan options. Staff were really helpful and my Basmati Mushroom Masala curry was phenomenal! I love going for Indian food whenever I’m on holiday and this place was fantastic!

Tasty curry - Edit
Good vegetarian/vegan section on menu and all dishes without paneer are vegan. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful with choosing out other vegan items on the menu. Chana masala was tasty and not expensive.

Good food, knowledgeable staff - Edit
I've already eaten some better Indian dishes, but it's definitely a good option when you're nearby. We took the dahl with some cumin spiced rice. The dahl seemed to be made of split peas instead of lentils, but that didn't really bother.
Read moreThe waiter was very kind and helped us pick out the vegan dishes in the vegan/vegetarian section. Besides the paneer dishes, all the others were mostly vegan. They also have vegan wine. While we were eating, he brought us a piece of roti bread as well, just to taste. Very kind gesture!
Everyone gets a tiny glass of poncho in the end, but when we asked, they told us it contains honey. So just be careful with that.😄
