Vegan thali on the menu. Really delicious would definitely recommend. Lots of other options on the menu that look like they would be vegan as well. Nice cocktails and staff really friendly as well.

They actually have vegan dishes clearly marked on the menu..a rare thing in "omnivorous " restaurants in Funchal !

We had a good quality vegan thali, and a not very good vegetable biryani.
The interior is very basic and not particularly cosy or pleasant.
Overall, worth taking a look if in the old town, it's a decent option, although not the best, in my opinion, for vegan Indian in Funchal.

I had the Mataar Paneer thali and it was amazing. Great vegan choices and most of them are gluten free too. Would recommend to anybody who is visiting Funchal 😊

Got fish instead of a vegan dish - Edit
I ordered a specifically vegan dish and was served a wrong one with fish. Noticed after one bite and got sick. Was extremely disgusted and not able to eat the correct dish after this. Unfortunately a very bad experience.

The menu has lots of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. The owners are well informed and are happy to adapt the food to make vegan. Even the naan bread is vegan (cooked with oil instead of yogurt).

Have eaten in vegan and vegetarian only eateries in Madeira, but the new menu at the new venue (as of May 2022) on Largo do Corpo Santo in the heart of Funchal Old Town has a much greater selection of choices than vn/vg only venues we have tried in several years of living on the island.

Vegans and vegetarians are very warmly welcomed - one of the owners is herself vegetarian - and much of the Nepali and Indian food served has a long heritage from a predominantly vegetarian base.
In short, they really know what they are doing when it comes to serving exciting vn/vg food with outstanding flavour.
Pros: Extensive menu & variety of dishes, Quality food and a range of outstanding flavours, Eat inside, outside or between the two
Cons: Miss the private outdoor area at the old venue, Service needs time to adjust to the new venue
