Delicious Spanish tapas - Edit
My partner and I went here for my birthday and had a great time! It’s one of the few fancier restaurants in New Haven that can accommodate vegans. Nothing on the menu is explicitly marked as vegan, but we called ahead to see if some of their many vegetable-based dishes could be suitable. When we arrived, our server was kind enough to mark up my menu to let me know my options.
Read moreWe ended up ordering the vegetable paella, mushrooms, eggplant, broccoli, and patatas bravas (omitting mayo). All were delicious, but the mushrooms were my highlight.
The only downside was that this restaurant was absolutely PACKED on a Saturday night. Even with a reservation, we waited over 25 minutes to be seated. Granted, it was parents weekend at Yale, so I’m sure this isn’t usually a huge issue. Once we were seated, service was great! However, we might try to avoid going in the future on popular weekends.
Pros: Lots of vegetable-based dishes!, Relatively affordable for a fancy restaurant , Will mark up your menu to show vegan options
