Okay Pho, okay Banh Mi - Edit
I had a Banh Mi here weeks ago and it was only okay, I have had much better Banh Mis at other restaurants here on Happy Cow Hanoi.

Top notch bánh mí - Edit
Sat on the first floor with a balcony overlooking a busy Vietnamese interchange was a great spot to spectate the carnage that ensued in front of us. The bánh mí here was super tasty in a crunchy French roll that soaked up all the juices. The fresh pressed juice was a lovely addition to the meal.

Ordered the vegan beef noodle soup on Grab. For 55k, it was a tasty, satisfying meal with tofu, ‘meat balls’, soy beef, veg, noodles and a heap of fresh herbs.

Couple of good vegan banh mi options. I personally recommend the "mixed ingredients" one. Their homemade Chili oil is delicious! I highly recommend buying a small pot for I think 40k. We really loved the pizzas and of you’re into Hawaiian pizza they cut fresh pineapple directly on it so it’s fresh and tasty. Staff is super friendly. Misleading menu - Edit
For a place that has ”Vegan” in its name, any non-vegan menu items should be VERY clearly marked (or, ideally, not served at all). However, this is not the case, with their dairy cheese-covered pizzas displayed alongside their vegan products with no indication that they contain animal products. To make matters worse, the staff don’t even seem to know what vegan means and were overheard claiming that the pizzas are in fact vegan when they’re not—a major health and safety issue, as well as an ethical one.
Read moreWhen it came to the bánh mì itself, we were underwhelmed. The flavour was rather bland and the bread was a bit stale. Strangely, it also contained dry, crispy herbs instead of fresh ones. And not intentionally dried, but more like not-stored-properly kind of dry. It wasn’t awful, just felt a bit thoughtless and rushed (despite taking so long to be made).
With a little more care, I actually think this restaurant has great potential. They have a nice bright seating area upstairs and decent prices for an eat-in place. Slightly fresher ingredients and a good vegan cheese for the pizzas and they’d be good to go!

Read moreOn our last day in Hanoi we were tired and decided to get grab (Asia's version of Uber) to deliver some food.
Hubby had Banh mi and I had the vegetarian (vegan) beef noodle soup. Both were great but my soup was outstanding!
The flavor and the portion size we're amazing, it came with all the greens, spice, noodles and mock meat you could ever want.
Do yourself a favor and try it. They say takeaway isn't as good as dining in, well I don't know about that, this was the best thing I've eaten in Vietnam so far!

The banh mi are good.
The pizza are not vegan but the staff told us it was (we found the place without checking on internet that is why we did not know that it wasn't vegan).
It is really not that good to advertise that it is vegan and lie... Should inform better all the staff!
